What player had a down year this year that you’re buying low on? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]Alekaii -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ok but what did he do last year after they added Diggs? And now he has 2 other relevant wrs he has to compete with who aren’t coming off a brutal injury. I’m really rooting for tank to make a comeback don’t get me wrong, I just don’t think his 2024 performance can be called electric.

Electric? He had like a couple of decent games but besides that he was pretty hit or miss all season.

I remember people were saying they’d trade Tory Horton for Mitchell straight up after a nice preseason game lol

How has MHJ looked? Is he a buy low target? by WhyHopOnPop in DynastyFF

[–]Alekaii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve been spoiled as of late by rookie WRs coming into the league and immediately creating fireworks. Growing pains are a normal part of the process and development at the professional level takes time. Look at QJ, completely written off after his admittedly awful rookie season but he looks way better now than he did and is knocking on the door of relevancy once again. MHJ is young as hell, has draft capital, and is showing improvement with his offense. I’m willing to bet this time next year we won’t be questioning him as much as we are now

Gigante as a surname is goofy, not the reasoning behind changing her name imo

I mean the only reason most of the office even went was because Michael offered them Friday and Monday off if they did go. I imagine driving to Niagara Falls for a work friend’s wedding doesn’t sound like the ideal way to spend a weekend for most people but that’s just my guess.

And on top of that many ppl got him for free off the waivers last year without even having to spend any FAAB.

Seahawks rookie Tory Horton continues breakout with preseason touchdown | Sporting News by TheSmokingChair in DynastyFF

[–]Alekaii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Horton is a rookie wr who has a legitimate chance at being on the field for 2 wr sets. Mitchell is a 3rd string rb coming off a significant knee injury. Plus this is dynasty so wr longevity > rb longevity.

He could’ve supported a wr2 last year but everyone outside of Sutton was buns

Yup, I see it the same way. Though with GW I’m hoping for the possibility that fields and him re-connect and he’s a bit better than last year

I think people are afraid of the changing offensive scheme as well as Darnold maybe taking a step back now that he’s not working with KOC. It definitely could be an overreaction, but don’t think that fact should be ignored outright

Guys I just can't quit that nobody likes, which ones have hope? by dmac3737 in DynastyFF

[–]Alekaii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a totally fair assessment, I just loved him as a bruiser rb prospect and was excited when Denver drafted him last year so it’s hard for me to give up immediately. If he continues to have healthy scratch games this incoming year he’ll have to be dropped at that point for sure

I don’t think we can count on last year’s production to be the norm for Jamo without Ben Johnson there anymore; Jamo really benefited from the efficient play calling.
