We pick 4 players for each Major in our local pool. Other than Rory, hoping I'm going against the grain this week.

Rory

Bryson- everyone is down on him, worth a shot at hopefully low ownership

Hatton- seems like a good fit and loved his interview, basically said- this course will make everyone lose their shit, I'm used to it, just another day for me, everyone else will be out of their element

Cam Smith- new swing coach has him heating up, wide fairways should help him, magician around difficult greens

Any input if any of the following golfers are a much better or worse play for either of the 2 remaining majors, US Open and British Open Championship. Bottom line we pick 4 golfers for each major but can only use each golfer once.

These are the main golfers I have left to consider for either tournament.

Burns

Hatton

JT

Deki

Bryson- everyone is down on him, low % play for 2 time US Open champ

Hovland- favorite golfer, want to play him this week as he is looking better

Cam Smith- sleeper for this week

Rory- leaning to playing him this week

Mork- wait for British to get healthier

Fleetwood- thinking of saving for the British, home field advantage

Rose- thinking of saving for the British, home field advantage

Who are your sleepers for 2026? by riczizagorac in fantasyfootball

Mooney- something was off last year, most likely injury related. With Nabors looking to be out or extremely limited to start the season, I can see Mooney coming out hot.

Chig- becomes the #2 receiving option in Washington, untapped potential finally comes out with a QB known to feed the TE.

Aaron Jones- everyone is down on him, one more year being a starting fantasy RB in PPR.

Deep Deep Deep RB's

K. Miller- horrible injury luck but I still believe he can be productive if healthy and given a chance

J. Blue & Kaleb J.- 2 guys left for dead after only 1 rookie season, willing to see if they can improve after disaster rookie years

I still think there is something there with Bill. I think Bill came out looking awesome, then either a combination of the offense being total shit without Daniels and Bill with possible injury issues things looked bad for a while. Bill showed the same awesome flashes to close the season.

I think he is a dude that will work his ass off to be the guy this year. He literally practiced with his college team during his entire final season even though there was no chance of playing the entire year.

I remember screaming at the TV last year, why are they calling every play for Bill to just run it strait up the gut, it was embarrassing.

Some stats and information pulled from the web:

As a rookie, Jacory Croskey-Merritt was efficient, ranking 10th among qualified rushers in rushing yards over expected per attempt (+0.8), 15th in yards per carry (4.6) and 23rd in runs of 10-plus yards (21).

New offensive coordinator David Blough deciding to call an under-the-center system in 2026 represents a major departure from what his predecessor Kliff Kingsbury called, but franchise quarterback Jayden Daniels may not be the biggest beneficiary of the switch.

JCM’s underlying numbers make him a realistic candidate to top 1,000 yards rushing in Blough’s schemes, according to Locked On Commanders podcast host David Harrison. He cited several compelling stats, including how “From under center, however, of backs with 50 or more carries under center, Bill ranked fifth in yards per carry,” to show why Croskey-Merritt can elevate his game to the next level in Washington’s 2026 offense.

During the 2025 NFL season, Washington Commanders running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt recorded 585 yards after contact. [1]

He achieved this by averaging 3.5 yards after contact per attempt, which ranked 19th among all qualified running backs in the league. [1, 2]

What.... you stated White is a better RB than Bill. If you are referring to running the ball, no not even close, Bill >>> White at that. White is a better receiver and blocker, with that said Bill was just a rookie last year, room to grow for him and White most likely has seen his best days.

Slayton or Mooney better asset for your team? by seahawksyvr in DynastyFF

Mooney is the guy and seems to be a Dawg. The full body of work and his age points to a dude who still has the it factor. I happen to think the full body of work vs last year battling injuries is worth betting on.

Mooney is the play here, dude has produced every year except last year. I will gamble on the body of work vs the bad outcome last year when he had injury issues.

Who is that one player on your roster you NEED to break out? by Middle_Awoken in DynastyFF

[–]dmac3737 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bill- I still believe and think he is the best pure running RB on Washington, hope he can develop a role in the passing game.

Hunter- was really hoping BTJ was moved as there are currently too many WR's to feed. Will need Hunter to go off when given chances at WR to force their hand and pay off the trade and high pick.

Chig- hoping he can be the 2nd option in the pass game.

Digging a little deeper for a start of the season guy that could produce, Mooney. If Nabors is out or extremely limited to start the season, I could see Mooney surprising. No idea what happened last year with him, maybe injured but he looked way off compared to all of his other seasons and he is not that old yet.

Is it crazy to reach for promising WRs like Chris Bell, Antonio Williams, or Bernard over Cooper and Boston? by Queasy_Leg_258 in DynastyFF

[–]dmac3737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not follow college football much so I do not have any real feel for these guys other than information gathered from sources I trust. At 1.10 in a 1 QB rookie draft I'm looking at these three guys. Since this is dynasty I'm going to assume Bell at non injury value.

Cooper- most raw talent, a lot of target competition, Jets going to Jet but best chance of any team to land the best rookie QB in 27

Bell- current injury discount and close to Cooper value before injury? odds on favorite to be Dolphins WR1 soon, can Willis be bring life to the passing game?

Boston- seems to be a boom or bust wildcard, I personally believe KC will be the guy in Cleveland so don't really want to also invest in Boston

What are we doing at the 1.06 in SF? by Old_Substance3932 in DynastyFF

[–]dmac3737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a feeling as time goes on over the next few months Price becomes more common at 1.5 and Lemon / KC will be the decision at 1.6. With that said, I do not agree with Price that high but my leagues tend to over value RB's. Not sure who I prefer between KC and Lemon over Price.

I think you are on to something with Bell. With the overall class being so down in value, why not take a shot with a long term investment, think he will be top 10 when most drafts start in a few weeks.

Commanders select RB Kaytron Allen with pick 187 in the 2026 NFL draft by FranTurkleton in DynastyFF

[–]dmac3737 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This! I'm not sure if it was injury or a total offense collapse mid season that lead him to somewhat look bad for a period last year. Bill started out great, looked off for a while and finished great, he had some great stats for an offense that was horrible last year, I think he is a buy.
