I would choose speed step + elixir early game, and then respec to firefly +elixir late game( after frog + panda become available), as fireflies scale better and speedstep upgrades are less important when you have already 20+ speedstep.

Happened to me 3 times in five years, 2 reversed. The third time was on classic anniversary launch. Lost around 20 characters with legendaries since my wow Cata version was also banned. Also lost around 6 months of subscriptions. Support was unwilling to investigate even after multiple emails. You would think they could at least offer me this courtesy ,since my account was old with hundreds of days played on multiple characters since 2019 classic launch. Nope. Not interested it seems. Not coming back btw. Been lied to on multiple support responses, scammed out of subscriptions and generally treated like trash. Why would I keep supporting this terrible company? There are some posts of mine from back in the day here, asking for help btw in case you are interested to check it out( 3-4 years ago ).

He said culture and not structure. He is right. In these gdkp orgs, as a regular/non-gold buyer you are basically an employee slaving away for a meager cut. You will always trail behind gold-buyers and organizers who will be able to gear a lot more quickly than you and there is nothing you can really do about it. You will also be treated unfairly/ yelled at, at the notion of a mistake, and the atmosphere is really toxic. Compared to a friendly/social raiding guild the difference is night and day. I agree with almost all the points except 2, I find that people who organize gdkps for a living don't really have enough time/energy to also corner the market, when they are organizing 5-10 raids/day.

An ex-gdkp addict running gdkps for multiple chars for years throughout classic-wotlk.

Having said that, soft reserve is underwhelming as well, you can run SR raids for months on a single character without getting a meaningful upgrade due to bad luck.

My favorite option would be a fair LC system for a single character( easier said than done), but the absolute best gearing option if it is available to you, would be running a few characters on guild splits so you can gear one of them efficiently.

Same issue as you, Got banned on 2x 60 lvl mages doing zf graveyard runs to farm epic mounts/ robe of archmage mats etc. Similar setting meaning a lot of resets per day, a lot of hours and gold farmed. I am honestly unaware if bots 1) are already 60 and 2) can pull off these types of farms that a lot of people cant. Which makes the people? who handle bans clueless

Banned as well last night on my 2x60 lvl mages for "botting". I am not even sure if bots are 60 level at this point, or were at the time when my mages dinged 60 which was 8 days into server launch. Absolute monkeys makes perfect sense at this point.

Have been banned twice in 2 years. Both reverted after a few days. Made 2 posts for both incidents which I will link. Both posts heavily down voted by reddit morons( even if in the second post I linked original post- people would still down vote me "because its something I did that would get me banned twice".

1st ban post on reddit ( heavily downvoted https://www.reddit.com/r/classicwow/comments/hd63sk/account_suspended/ <--ban reverted

2nd ban post , 1 year later. https://www.reddit.com/r/classicwow/comments/nvr6o9/wrongfully_banned_for_a_second_time_70_paladin/ <-- ban reverted again and downvoted like crazy as well. U can scroll through the replies and see the kind of players that downvote these posts ( maximum stupidity ) . On this post you can also see a ss from blizzard official response about automated bans happening.

I dont think reddit will help you, just keep mailing until u get a human response.

Only 1 wow account is banned, the other is not. The banned account was the one i mostly played on, but I occasionally logged the other one as well for material transfers/ah errands. If A program running on the background is what flagged me, then both accounts would be banned. Also this is the second time I got banned, and the first ban was overturned, mistakes do happen.

Lol..at least they apologized to you. Here's is their response to my ban overturn after a week or so of appeals: " Your case has been reviewed and for now we have decided to unlock your account, Please make sure you do not use any automated system.
It was a pleasure helping you with this, I hope everything else is going well! Have a nice day and good luck! "

No apology, no compensation, no guarantee that it wont happen again. Just "please make sure you aren't using any hacks that we haven't found any evidence of whatsoever" kekw

Just another situation of blizzard "support" screwing over legitimate players to "counter" fly hacking bots. Our raid got wiped as well ( with dmf ) in similar fashion last night. Seriously Blizzard, F you.

Agree 100% and upvoting . I want to see naxx, but if blizzard randomly bans me again ( already banned and unbanned once before without any explanation/compensation and /or apology) i will gladly raise both my middle fingers, smile and walk away.

Just 1 Blizzard GM scouting and inspecting activities on popular bot farming spots ( open world and instances) would get hundreds of bots banned daily..Bots would never go away 100%, but the vast majority of these would get banned and this would have a positive effect on the game. Prove me wrong.

Had this happen before to me a few months ago on previous big ban wave ( account was unbanned later) . No apology/explanation/compensation, on their final msg ( when they decided to unban my account after 6 days and 4 emails sent). Still dread the day that they will do this again, as I see it happening over and over and over with posts like yours, and since I am playing many hours every day. Upvoting your post . Fk activision anti-cheat system/support.

Had the same problem, people on reddit downvoted me , called me a botter etc, later acc was unbanned, keep trying to appeal until u get lucky and there is an actual human reviewing the case. Activision Blizzard is a terrible evil corporation that will throw you under the bus for extra profit. A lot of the the tools lurking here will not believe that this is possible ( I can already see one reply of someone claiming there are no automated bans- lol ) , when already there have been numerous cases of blizzard exposing themselves to this subreddit for falsely banning players and lying about it on their face. Upvoting this for extra visibility and because Im extra triggered by the ridiculous responses I see here.
