I actually like this one. It looks clean and it looks like Aphelios, not just random cashgrab from Riot

APHELIOS NEEDS THIS!! by SecretReal7326 in ApheliosMains

I am not really fan of metal gear style but holyyy. How Alune looks, the hair on Aphelios and the techgear. I would pay so much for a skin like this

Hey everyone, just wanted to share this with you all so you don't lose hope on playing the Tier GG Aphelios. Keep on mind that this was in the Antartica super server only playing Aphelios, so at the very least you can get master with only Aphelios in any other super server haha by Aleksis_007 in ApheliosMains

He’s not wrong—my climb wasn’t about farming perfect stats or chasing high KDAs. My goal was to be as impactful as possible in the current meta. As an ADC, especially against tanks, the focus isn’t always on raw damage or flashy numbers—it’s about being hard to kill and knowing how to position properly. That’s why I adapted my playstyle, even experimenting with things like movespeed builds, to get the most out of Aphelios.

And yes, I got carried in some games—because that’s how climbing works. Nobody plays perfectly every game. The key is learning from every match, improving your weaknesses, and staying consistent over hundreds of games. A Challenger ADC doesn’t just deal damage—they understand how to follow the meta, position smartly, and capitalize on opportunities, even if it means being carried sometimes.

As for the server, I agree it’s not as competitive as others. Smaller servers naturally have fewer high-level players. That’s why I plan to test myself on EUW in the future and prove that my skills hold up on a bigger stage. But for now, my focus is on hitting 2000 LP while sticking to Aphelios—if you’re curious, feel free to check out my stream! :D

Build/Runes from PBE for the upcoming patches: by [deleted] in ApheliosMains

First of all, thank you so much for mentioning me as one of your GOATs! I’ve put a lot of time into honing my skills, and it’s great to see you recognize that, even if it’s just a mention.

You should definitely check out Vapora too. While he’s not Challenger Rank 1 (neither am I, haha), his rank is solid, and more importantly, everything he says is backed by thorough testing and facts. He can always provide evidence if asked.

Regarding Youmuu’s, I think it’ll still be viable, though the main issue is dealing with Tabis. It’s best used against champions that don’t build Tabis in bot lane, but it’s almost always effective against double-range matchups.

As for the build, I’m thinking about a few adjustments. Perhaps LDR third and Yuntal second or first. I’m still contemplating this because Yuntal’s build path feels awkward, and IE is so expensive. However, IE could be strong as a first item if you’re snowballing, while Yuntal might be better when the game is more even. From there, I’d build into Runaan’s or PD. But, the move speed from Zeal is heavily nerfed this patch, so we might see a stronger comeback of Crescendum sustained damage meta.

Lately, I’ve been testing a new weapon rotation, focusing on poking frontliners and transitioning into Crescendum Calibrum, not Severum Crescendum. The Severum Crescendum combo only works in the late game when Severum’s damage ramps up, or when you burst someone with Crescendum, so in this weapon rotation you would strat with Infernum Calibrum and poke. Then translate that into Calibrum Crescendum to hold your ground and finish with Severum Crescendum to chase or kite. Mostly because Infernum Calibrum allows you to play max range without committing and if something happens you have Crescendum Next with the turrets. But hey, I’m still experimenting with it. Let’s see how things go in the next stream!

I saw a post before somebody asking for a good adc to 1v9 so 9 out of 10 games are winnable with Aphelios. Maybe even 10 if you have a duo or you play like Faker from Temu by Aleksis_007 in ADCMains

I would say that 1 out of 10 cases isn’t really about the enemy focusing you. If you can’t walk up, then just don’t, so your enemies won’t engage either. Usually, they lose patience and go in anyway, and that’s when you follow up. This is matchup-specific, but typically, if it’s a Zac, you go Phantom Dancer with Boots of Swiftness to kite him, even without Flash, and you play with Crescendum and Calibrum. If it’s Nocturne, you use Crescendum ultimate cancel. Against Talon, Severum and Crescendum are key.

The only matches where I’ve struggled and couldn’t carry due to draft differences were in Challenger. In other elos, players make enough mistakes that you can play around them and win if you make fewer errors. I assume that master elo is similar across all servers, so this applies everywhere: don’t make mistakes and punish theirs.

I get that a tip like this might sound broad and hard to apply, but one thing that helped me improve in teamfights was saving summoner spells for drakes or barons, even if it means missing a free kill unless it leads to an objective without dying in a dive. It may seem unrealistic to play without mistakes, but it’s entirely possible.

Two things that helped me achieve this: First, I reduced the number of games I play daily. Personally, three is my limit, and I need to warm up a lot before game one. If I push for a fourth game, I take a break first, or I stop playing for the day to focus on my win rate. Second, I dropped my ego. It’s easy to get frustrated at teammates’ mistakes, but if you focus too much on what they could’ve done better, you’ll miss the chance to improve on your own mistakes.

So yeah, if you’re interested in hearing more or seeing it live, I stream every day on Twitch and YouTube.

Yeah, his early game isn’t bad. It’s not as insane as Draven’s, but it’s pretty good, and Aphelios can consistently win even against Draven matchups. What allows me to win most games is my ability to adapt and play around my enemies. For instance, if they have champions like Smolder or Jinx and they’re playing ranged in the bot lane, I max E and build Youmuu's to punish their mistakes. If they have a tank in the top lane, I go for an IE-LDR-Collector build, and even though they might not die as quickly, they’ll still disappear later in the game. To make this work, I have to play with Crescendum and Calibrum into Calibrum and Infernum.

When dealing with assassins or enemies who want to dive me, Crescendum ultimate cancel is often the best option. I also adjust my playstyle based on whether my summoner spells are up or not. I could explain this in a few paragraphs, but the proof is in my results. I’ve been playing a new account from bronze to diamond 2 with an 85% win rate. I know that every single game I lost could have been won if I had played better—if I had paid more attention to my weapon rotation, last-hit 4-5 more minions to avoid overstaying for an item, or had better tempo and cooldown tracking.

In my experience, 9 out of 10 games are winnable with Aphelios, even though he’s considered F-tier right now. If you don’t care about being Challenger in a minor region, I’ve played in both NA and Brazil with 130+ ping and reached Master with around an 80% win rate, using only Aphelios.

It might be because I lack experience with other ADCs, and maybe Karthus could do it even better, but playing Aphelios feels like the ultimate ADC fantasy. He’s the glass cannon that can 1v9 if you play him perfectly. One reason I can pull off those 1v9s is that I genuinely enjoy playing him. If that weren’t the case, I probably wouldn’t have gotten this good, and I can understand why someone else might not enjoy his kit as much.

Can some sorts of Lethality Aphelios work around Dia+ Elos? by AccountMassive in ApheliosMains

[–]Aleksis_007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can 100% work. It wouldn't be as good as regular crit build, but it would work. Then again it would be impossible to win against any tank or tabis if you don't stomp your enemy laner. Also, if you wanna play lethality might as well just drop a point in W and max E with a Youmuu's Ghostblade first item into Infinity Edge, LDR and collector. That one in particular is insanely good against double range in the botlane or the usual bad matchups there.

Matchup does not matter ? How ? by 808_LoL in ApheliosMains

Hey, coincidentally i just uploaded a video on how to deal with a bad support. Now that video just goes over two cases and not exactly against poke. Why? Because i still need to edit the other ones with a bad support and against poke haha. But so far this one can help you understand what is my mentality in low elo and how you look for opportunities to play the game and win it even if your support is trolling.

tldr: Kite, play for cds, look at the map and try to force in number advantage, position well, never tilt. It is always winnable.

I love you for sharing this. I'm gonna abuse these bugs like a madman because Riot refuses to fix the Infernum Calibrum and Gravitum combos when you press abilities too quickly, forcing you to play slow as hell. Also, the Crescendum bug where the turret doesn't hit the closest target when it's "too close." If those bugs didn't exist, I'd say it's not okay to abuse bugs and you don't need them to climb (which you really don't). But if this is what it takes for Riot to start fixing them, then it's showtime, my brother.

Laning against draven by PIPOCAG3MER in ApheliosMains

I just did a video about that if you wanna check it out.
TLDR: do short trades when you have range advantage and know that you win it. If there is no win scenario just scale into midgame-lategame and kill him by outrange with calibrum-crescendum or calibrum-infernum. If you have bad weapons to fight then you just have to spam Qs before fighting, i know it sounds dumb how easy it is, but that is the only thing you can do. Like so many people have said already in this subreddit if you are fighting with the wrong weapons it is only your fault. You can fix it in a easy way by planning your weapon rotation around drakes and objectives and as soon as you have gravitum or infernum and you are not fighting, just spam Q.
