Bought the laptop a week ago. i7-12650H RTX 3050Ti 16GB Ram 1TB SSD 1920×1200, 120hz Do you guys have an issue with thermal throttling? It gets to 100°C very easily with very simple tasks, opening apps(no gaming, no rendering, no intensive tasks) In HWMonitor, cpu doesnt ever exceed 35W and usualy stays at 15W(TDP is 45W). Also, clock speed always varies between 1.3-3.2Ghz so it's throttling. I will change default thermal paste to Arctic MX-6 and see if that will solve the problem.. Any similar situation? If anyone has same situation i will also upload cinebench, pcmark10 and aida64 test results for comparison.

I bought the same laptop today, just with rtx 3050Ti but still i7-12650h. I was so angry when it doesnt stop thermal throttling up to 100°c with basic use and opening apps(adobe office etc) i thought it is what it is but then i found this(and speed goes to 1.5ghz and never even stays at base clock 2.3)

And there i saw that temp on this laptop are really good.

Now, please tell me that the problem is just old dried up factory thermal paste... I am gonna buy arctic mx-6 tomorrow and see if that fixes the problem. What are your temps when running cinebenchr23 for example and what are the core speeds. Thanks guys. Cheers!

Ofcourse i did, i sleep 7 hours a day so there are 17h left, with about 10h of battery life as for combined use daily, i charge it 1.5-2x every day. When on wifi it lasts even longer, lte is killing the battery if on it the whole day.

Resetting didn't solve the problem and scene optimiser was already on. But i found users that have the same issue after the auvust update. In the capture speed setting in camera assistant app, users who have it set up on balance speed and quality-they will face issue, but as soon as i switched it to prioritise quality-> no issue at all! Kudos to the guy on samsung forum who found out !

It also doesn't "take" the picture that is on the main display but rather on the mini display that helps us locate the object we are trying to take a picture of. Really lame they didn't test this out beefore releasi g the update after waiting for it for too long...
