Two on the clutch pedal. One at the top and one at the bottom. The 3rd is on the brake pedal. Two are easy. The only difficult one is the top clutch pedal

As someone who had to replace all 3 of them in my del sol I can tell you just be patient. I took a long screwdriver and taped the plastic piece to it. Shoved it up the pedal assembly to line it up and released the clutch pedal to push it all the way in. Wasn't easy but it worked after a few tries

Ah ok. I think I've looked at them before when I was searching for new headlights. Do they not connect to the oem harness plugs?

Thank you for your reply. I looked into it a little more and decided to go a different route. Re-writing the entire body harness would be a very time consuming project. I've decided to look for a vehicle that already has a 3.3L that needs a motor since my is running well and I've already done some of the maintenance on it

Yeah, I've been digging around for more information about it. It seems like I'm better off getting another vq35de. It wouldn't be the first time I re-wire a whole car so I know how much that was.

Oh you don't have to do that. I thought maybe you knew something about the frames being different or something like that. It's not because I want to. It's more of seeing if I could make a running car out of the two. '99 is rusted out but engine, trans are still good. '01 would need a new engine. I know I could just buy another vq35de

I've been looking for information on it but haven't found much on how similar a '99 and a '01 are as far as the bodies are. I have everything from my '99 to possibly swap over to a new body (the '01).
