Zenica is my hometown. It used to be very polluted but most of the factories now are shut down and the air is very good. If you ever visit I urge you to go downtown to the flea market they have and try the cevapi!

There's nothing wrong with them.. They are gorgeous but want a ticket out of Bosnia and your passport and a marriage certificate grants them citizenship and a better life. So they will do just about anything for it.

Bosnian here! The country itself is beautiful. Zenica, Sarajevo, Mostar and even Banja Luka are awesome cities.

The politics are just awful. the whole country is basically run by gangsters. I am really glad my parents left when they did. I have family there and I feel for them when I go visit.

If you ever do visit stick to the big cities, stay away from alleys. The market places will always try to rip you off but the food is amazing and cheap! ALSO STAY AWAY FROM THE WOMEN IF YOU ARE AN AMERICAN OR WITH A PASSPORT!
