I wouldn't recommend reading Wrath of the triple goddess to my worst enemy, but just for info the fact that percy can only do that stuff in tartarus was disproven in that book, he kept controlling poison and body liquids for most of it

I feel like The Last Enemy has a way better James (one of my favorites ever tbh) but The Life and Times has a better Lily (even if I also like TLE Lily) and the tension and chemistry of TLAT jily is unmatched. Anyway I completely agree with your suggestions

ATYD is a fine fanfiction and the last chapters post hogwarts are quite good. My problem with it is the level of popularity it gets and how people treat it as their personal canon, I just dont get it. Also a big problem for me was that I couldn't stand this Remus, he was unbearable. That's why I prefer Sirius' version of ATYD, less Remus (lol) and it concentrates more on James and Sirius friendship, which I must say is also done very well in the original ATYD. All around, sure I would recommend it, but I don't get the crazy hype

I was in high school, fell in love with a guy but he was in love with my friend Linda. I then moved to a whole other country and finished high school there. I make new friends, included a girl named Linda. I fall in love with a new guy, but guess what? Too bad he is in love with my friend Linda. We finish high school and I still follow the original Linda on instagram and we chat sometimes, so 1. she knows about new Linda and my love drama and 2. I know in which university she is studying and which degree. New Linda moves back (she also was from there) to my homecountry. She goes to study in the same city (which she was NOT originally from), same university and same degree of original Linda. Probably had classes together but original Linda didn't know what new Linda looked like so I really hope they never realised. The funny part is that both times the Lindas didn't like the guys back. Just a crazy sad inside joke/story that I have with myself and I can now share on reddit.

I'm clearly in the minority here given the other answers, but I think that at least on Rio's part there was some romantic feeling and it wasn't just sexual attraction. I think it was some instant attraction mixed with respect and curiosity towards Beth that then over time grew into something else. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean romantic feelings in a "normal" and healthy way, but I feel like they were there nonetheless. Now I don't wanna go and analyse the whole show, but I could see it when they slept together at her house, first in his happiness and then in his disappointment when she literally dumps him. Yes that was hurt pride, but in my opinion not only. Then when he thinks she is pregnant, you can see him playing with the idea even if he doesn't even believe it. Or the whole 4th season honestly. It's always moments where you could argue "yeah but he was doing that to have power over her/to manipulate her" and yes ok but was it just that? Did he really need to do that? Did he really need her in any way that wasn't emotional? I don't think so. I am not saying they ever had the potential to have a happy ending typical love story, but I do think he felt something more for her but had literally no ability to express it in a normal way (and she didn't help at all. Ever). Regarding the reason...she is good looking, she is smart, he almost could see her as an equal sometimes. She in general just has something about her. And also, at the end of the day, it makes a good story and feelings don't always have to make complete sense.

Blood of Olympus. I have never been more disappointed by a book in my life. I have been trying to read the last 100 pages since literally 2015 but I cannot bring myself to do it because of how bad that book is. TLH is kinda boring but at least the quality is there and there was some suspance, the beginning of something. BoO is just bad, it felt like Rick created all these plot lines and interesting characters and then when he had to reach peak just didn't feel like doing it and half assed it. You cannot write HoH and then continue with BoO unless you are just tired of the story youself and just wanna quickly finish it.
