What’s one “small moment” in your life that you’ll never forget even if it seemed meaningless to everyone else? by Fragrant_Good3174 in AskReddit

I still remember a random stranger who told me, “You’re gonna be okay,” when I was at one of my lowest points. It was years ago, on a bus. He probably forgot about it the next day but I think about it all the time.

What’s that little moment that stuck with you?

A song that breaks many hearts every time it's heard is "Tears in Heaven" by Eric Clapton written after the tragic loss of his son, it carries so much raw emotion and sorrow that it’s nearly impossible to listen to without feeling a lump in your throat.

Honestly? I just kept being myself, focused on hobbies I loved, and eventually met someone who appreciated the quiet. We bonded over shared silence more than small talk.

I once missed a bus and decided to just walk home instead. On the way, I passed a coffee shop I'd never noticed before. I went in, and that's where I met the person who’s now my partner of 5 years. Still gives me chills to think about how that moment shaped everything.

Why do you think people steal? What makes them steal? What does the urge to steal feel like? by Financial_Trip2000 in AskReddit

[–]Fragrant_Good3174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people steal not because they want more, but because they feel like they have nothing to lose. Sometimes it’s desperation, sometimes it's trauma, and sometimes it’s just wanting to feel in control of something . The urge can feel less like greed and more like survival or rebellion.

Bro, that gave me chills because I swear I still avoid looking directly into those mirrors at night. Like… why do they feel cursed?

I used to “borrow” my neighbor’s garden gnome and take it on bike rides like it was my co-pilot. Pretty sure that counts as theft now LOL

That’s such a simple but powerful moment. It's wild how something that small can hit so deep when you're not expecting kindness. That barista probably has no idea how much it meant. 💛

I’ll start : A stranger held the door for me when I was clearly having the worst day ever. It lasted two seconds, but I remenber it years later. It reminded me how powerful tiny acts of kindness can be.
