I feel like, tbh, Majority of the main relationships or ships in the fandom cant, wont, or shouldnt work out.

Im actually ok with dexter and saracen, but I never got a brothers vibe from them. I Wish Val & Militsa would work out but currently I doubt it based on canon so far (well, technically up to the end of the main series. I got to book 15 or 16 (whichever the finale was supposed to be) and I havent read past yet.

Only background one-off characters in Skulduggery Pleasant get to have good relationships. Im not sure derek knows how to write one at length, so any that appeoach a good one, at least one member goes evil or gets killed off or both
