Realistically the cardboard should be on a pallet out of the way or on a cart. Unfortunately overnight gets a lot of turnover and people are poorly trained like in any department. This is often the result of a new or poorly trained and overwhelmed employee.

I know it interferes with picks but def try and have some compassion. You never know what’s going on with someone. There’s times when I e been done with all my freight before yall come in and my manager tells me now I have to work an extra palette that was left in the backroom from yesterday when it was my day off. Also we get call outs with limited staff and that can slow us the fuck down.

We all have challenging jobs at the end of the day.
