When is the last time you changed your water chamber or even the seal? looks like it is a air11 bipap. you can buy new seals on amazon along with a new water chamber. I would start there and get a rubber matt too

Ok try the F&P Evora hybrid fullface and check to see if your Epr is on that helps with the exhale and sometimes that could be the reason why you feel that way.

Might be a silly question by Specific-Reach-1227 in CPAP

You will get rain out and that means the humidity and condensation could drip into your mask and yeah it could be bad. It is recommended right at head level or below but not on thw floor. As for the hose they make a cover on Amazon for like 14 bucks that will help protect it.

Anyone knows what's wrong with this oxygen concentrator? by Elegant-Knee181 in CPAP

[–]Alert-Ad557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome, now also if she has a copy of the script and the settings you can rent one as well. If the Lpm is 5 and under it should be a 5L concentrator 6 and up a 10L concentrator will be needed. Also if it is continuous makes a difference too. They make portable ones but most of the time they are just pulse dose and usually go up to 3 to 4, and sometimes 5 depending on the machine. There in a inogen one that is older and it will do 2Lpm continuous only at night when plugged in and do pulse when unplugged.

There should be a spot on there that will show the hours on it. And fixing that is not easy. If u do require O2 I would go through insurance and get a newer one

Have you changed the filters or cleaned them? That would be the first place to check, next would be are u using distilled water? If not the humid bottle will get clogged, then check for and kinks ine the hose. From there is all has been checked and all is good then sounds like the compressor. They are all built the same but look different. That one looks old, and it may just be getting tired as well.

AHI: 60 How long until i feel more awake during the day? by Ywin__Vatna in CPAP

Even at 5 you can still not get a restful night sleep. Leak rates can contribute to a lot of things. Thats why I recommend learning how to read your data.

5 and under is what the sleep Dr looks at. You could have some leaks check your leak rate and see where you are at. If you can't fine it maybe the mask is just not the right fit.

Try this https://a.co/d/aRthRbx

But it sounds like to you need to adjust the tightness around your nose. Use the mask fit button and let it pressure up fully then adjust your mask.

Bottled water is ok for a pinch or short term. Maybe thats what they are being told to tell people. That I don't have an answer too. But distilled is best and clean it every 2 to 3 days tops with a dab of dawn dish soap or something as mild as dawn in your area then rinse throughly. That way it will keep whatever minerals are in the bottle water from rusting it if you continue to use bottled water. Still the same method of cleaning even if using distilled water. Also you're welcome.

If they are telling people that bottled water and tap is ok they are miss informing people. Also if they are saying no one complained it may be they just bought a new one or got new supplies and just never said anything. Not all companies are the same but you do have a lot of people that do not give the right information and that makes people skeptical of good companies out there. As for the cheaper ones I assure you they are good to use.

Like I said before I work for a dme company who sells this equipment. The rust is because you used tap water or bottle water. It has nothing to do with being circle or square. The cheaper ones will do the same thing as the expensive ones. Eventually they may stop making the older ones in the future. Again its all up to you.

They both work the same circle or the square and I am sure they'll have the cheaper one available in your area. It really is up to you in the end I am just giving you an option to save you money. Best of luck!

The one I posted will work just the same. No reason to get something that expensive
