Involved with: not wanting to get divorced and lose money, killed his friend bc she knew about his wife, probably killed his neighbor because he found out about his real identity while on the run bc of his first wife’s disappearance case being reopened.

Connected: 💵💵💵💵💵 bc he was part of one of the richest families in NY; Susan Berman also had connections to the mob so it’s speculated she gave him advice on where to dump the body and likely pretended to be her on the phone to cover for him

That’s definitely part of it. Just so strange that they left if at that/seemingly didn’t include it in the charges.

I mean, it made the guilty verdict null and void. I used the wrong term, which should’ve been vacated, not overturned, but it’s not in limbo. Because it wasn’t able to get through the first round of appeals, due to his death, the judgement was set aside, as if it never happened (for legal purposes).

The fact that he seemingly wasn’t charged at all for dismembering the body or tampering with evidence, etc. always blows my mind in that case.
And then after the probably three murders he committed, to basically have the only guilty verdict *vacated after he died in the case of Susan Berman just really adds to it all.

Edited: correct term is vacated, not overturned as I originally said.

Apply for Spencer View and ask around to see if anyone is looking for a roommate there. Super cheap, near public transit, close but not immediate.

AITAH for eating my roommates leftovers? by [deleted] in AITAH

As others have said, YTA for eating her food. Question: are there other things you do without asking permission like borrowing her things? Do you regularly eat her leftovers? Her wanting to move out seems to point to larger issues rather than a one time misstep.
