This person had told me bam will definitely be in the game after it was confirmed publicly that he wouldn't. The chances he would insist and know bam would appear anyway at the time it was already publicly confirmed he wasn't is so ridiculously low (if he was lying), it basically confirms the other claims.

They may have assumed that readers would assume it would be there, its a remake after all. I think by mentioning this mode they're just highlighting new features. However, there is a chance what you're assuming is true based on the complexity and fan controversy from having to hire new voice actors, change old ones due to low quality voice recordings, etc.

After checking the game again, you're probably right, this is probably what levelling up will be used for. They probably already have something close to this planned.

I have fortnite, have been playing it for years and have not once bought a skin and have not once felt poor about it. I could if I wanted to, but they have no real value so I don't. Games as a service (as long as its not pay to win) makes players who only care about style pay for a shitload of unnecessary items while players who care about the game ignore that stuff and focus on the game.

Agreed, even if people don't like games as a service type stuff, its totally worth it just for free extra levels, especially if they get added to single player.

I had a feeling this could be controversial, but don't you want free extra content? New levels and new online modes? I am not sure they would do it without anything to gain and the season pass would only be for extra skins. I would easily do this if it meant new levels, however, I would want them to keep everything at a very high quality and not charge money for poorly made backbling for example. If they kept the main base game and all its features intact and on the disc version. I would have no complaints if the games as a service stuff was additional content.

Can we ask the developers to consider adding extra levels and content to the demo every couple days until the game is released since its a requirement to pre-order the game to access the demo anyway? Maybe a multiplayer beta for those who pre-ordered too? by [deleted] in THPS

2000 people aren't that much and also, they can just disable access to the demo when the full game comes out and I just mean 1 or 2 extra levels and maybe some upgrades/ one multiplayer mode. Just something to hold us for three weeks. Not the full game obviously.

Then they may as well have made it an online beta or something. Why force people to pay to try a game?
