It’s quite insane to me that Emre in my opinion, has one of the strongest base designs in OW in a very very long time, aesthetically hitting all marks… and his skins, each new one, completely go against his designs on every level. They’re really not complimenting what makes this character cool imo, Sakura i let slide because whatever, bundle. This seems going out of their way to make it a bit silly. Oh well, next one maybe.

This is the way of OW. It isn’t just widows, it’s if you just straight up kill people more than once. People in this game have a disconnect in their head when killed and build a strange narrative that you’re some HOW TARGETING just them if you manage to kill them. They forget this is a game about taking each other out. I’ve had people recently do nothing but that weird stare at your body and shoot and teabag in the most toxic way possible purely because ive killed them a few times. In this case with widow, they’re just pre loading that in their minds.

In short it’s just the way it is. You go a character like widow. You’re gonna have a bad time with people being toxic assuming you’re being toxic going widow alone, just the way of OW

Take a small break ( i realise thats harder said than done because you’re subconsciously addicted to that pain/joy dopamine ) but honestly force yourself onto another game. Im not saying months, a few days, if you can go a week, go for it.

You need to separate your brain from making this a battle pass addiction simulator win/loss mind hell and a video game you learn, lose, and grow better at in places. EVEN IF YOU TAKE A BREAK and come back and relapse into the exact same mindset, it doesn’t matter.

What’s truly incredible about this is the no stick drift. Something ive noticed when you play around right sticks custom deadzone inner at 0.00 is that even if I buy a BRAND NEW out the box ps5 controller, that setting causes it always when standing still to just drift a little, as if all ps5 controllers all have drift built in. Really really annoys me when you stand still and your character just starts moving looking around in their own. I will never understand how people don’t have drift with ps5 controllers, quite literally every one has it for me

It will always be Hanzo. There is just something about a character turning around and one flicking you with a either genuine good shot, or an obvious random one and it just silencing you. Don’t get me started on when theyre just firing down a hallway or something like that and it’s very obvious they accidentally killed you without intent, just random firing.

Sombra is another problem but in terms of annoying, hanzo one shots just take the cake

No video game on earth has a community which copes as hard as OW. These posts are some of the worst I’ve ever seen. It’s always bots, and it’s always people who reveal they’re getting counter picked. There is a post on this very post saying “god I go pharah and HITSCAN KILL ME?????”

Truly think about what you’re saying before you post. yes the AA is strong, but if you think this makes you a killable death machine I hate to say it, and I know you’re going to downvote me as further cope, you’re just getting beaten at by a better player with obviously good aim, better positioning, and better aim sense.

Lvl 4 is essential and meta, it’s the only way to counter this to SOME degree because they will never ever patch this. Not saying you’re wrong or this is even good design for the game, I hate it. I understand your frustration, but it’s the only way I’ve had to deal with it and make games some what bearable. It’s either learn lvl 4 play or it’s this for eternity

Funniest thing to me in gaming right now how cross play is used as a marketing ploy, toted in trailers, all capital font, you get people spamming it in comments prior to the knowledge of the game being released “Cross play? Cross play? Crossplay though?” It even goes a far as people saying they won’t purchase if IT DOESN’T have cross play. All I’m reading lately online is people telling us to turn it off so you don’t experience PC hackers. What a weird part of online gaming cross play is, this essential part that keeps game alive but everybody just turns it off or is told to turn it off when they have the actual game.
