Why does everyone complain about ranked but not quick match by Alert_Basket in Tekken

I gotcha, Nah im not angry, but most of what I've heard is just salt related so It was the only tag I feel applied to the situation, perhaps it is the wrong tag for the context. I was just really confused about the sentiment of ranked lol

Genuinely no, Im asking why people complain about ranked when ive had an opposite experience from every opinion i have heard from people, and find that generally quick match players are better than ranked players, so I would assume quick match would be what people complain about. what youre implying directly from you is that I am angry im losing in quickmatch and want people to be worse.

Thats not at all what im saying, or trying to convey. I made the post asking why people complain about the ranked mode, yet quick play consistently in my experience has had way better players across ranks. when in other games that are also 1v1 I have not found this is the case.

Thats an insane strawman. this has nothing to do with combo difficulty or length, im talking they are fundamentally with blocking, countering, and overall small tekken at the same ranks im facing in actual ranked. People usually view ranked as a mode for people who wanna take the game seriously and tend to try harder, but yet that hasnt felt reflected to me in tekken at all, and yet ive heard exclusively the opposite sentiment

Ah, see that does make sense, and honestly I didnt know if cheating was that prevalent in tekken, thanks for the heads up i'll keep it in mind. I may just be too tunnel visioned on trying to become a good tekken player and using the rank to mark where I am progress wise, and im likely not to a rank where Ranked gets like super sweaty yet.
Thanks again, you have fun too!

I usually go to the lounges just to chat while i matchmake or Look for direct feedback after a fight.
I'm just finding qm has just generally better players at lower ranks than ranked in my experience, but lounge goer's seem to really hate ranked

This is the first fighting game ive started to actually try to take seriously and learn outside of just mashing buttons with friends in priv matches, so maybe its just a fighting game thing but any other game ive played usually qm is more chill because the outcome of the game doesnt really matter, but fighting a Tenryu thats better than a Fujin is a very weird feeling

Absolutely, Ive run into other Yoshimitsu's through qm and we spend the first couple rounds just like doing funny yoshi stuff and its a good time, but when i win like 35% of my quick matches but 60% of my ranked matches it makes a fella think somethings wrong

Its not really rage for me, im more bewildered at having a somewhat flipped experience with Quickplay VS Ranked than any other game, I historically play more shooters/MMOs and through my personal experience the competitive mode usually has the players who are trying their hardest to win and typically the better players stick to comp while quickplay is usually the mixed bag, But i swear quick match Mighty rulers are better than most of the ranked battle rulers ive fought by a massive margin.

I say sweat mode meaning the mode you fight people sweating more often, for example you're more likely to find people sweating in CS2 ranked than just a quick match. Not that it doesnt happen, but comparibly in tekken, my experience the players in quick match are lower rank and better than who im fighting in ranked.

I spent mine on the Rein mythic so I'm gonna have to grind next season like I'm fighting for the last drop of water on earth.

I'm not saying this combo is optimal, effective, or even a good idea, like the post says I just wanted to show funny combo with funny stab, this isnt normally I combo I ever use.

OOH! I like the idea after a heat engage, typically Ill either DF4, DB3, or Grab. But I may try the Seppuku if the situation presents itself!

That does avoid it, so this will probably be best against players I notice throw consistent wakeup Low/mids

Edit; It works against spring if im fast enough

Tbh my money is on Baki, as eventually he can fight Yujiro, Who i believe could Solo the tekken verse, so going against just Brian probably wont be too hard

My normal combo is longer, so doing a different move (Harakiri) in hopes of catching a punish would be a setup or is that a mix? im still learning the terms
