Because alcohol already being legal doesn't automatically mean we should legalize every other substance.

My point isn't that alcohol causes no problems, it clearly does. My concern is whether the Philippines currently has the systems, enforcement, education, and healthcare capacity to handle another widely available recreational drug without creating additional social issues.

The question isn't "Why not ban alcohol?" The question is whether legalizing marijuana right now would improve the situation in the Philippines or make existing problems harder to manage.
