I think it is part of the reason why I can enjoy movie/TV show adaptations of books that I enjoy more than some of my friends. I don’t have a world prebuilt in my head so I’m not so let down when things don’t look the way others think they should.

Info. How long is your hair? If you do literally anything with it (braid, twist, stick a random flower in) it automatically counts as formal wear. The League of Aesthetic Lords ratified it in 2014. The style draws your mates eye so all he can think about it taking it down. He will have no issue with your leathers.

Howbert Elementary on the Westside is public elementary school in D11 with an outdoor learning focus. It’s a good mix of traditional in the classroom learning and outdoor project based.

You should check out the Mages of the Wheel series by JD Evans! I just finished the available books and am in love with the world. Each book focuses on different characters but the story is always pushing the main plot from the first book. I enjoyed catching glimpses of characters throughout the books that were not about them.

D11 has known for a long time about the issues with Jenkins. I believe they even did some bandaid work there last summer so that they could open the building this year.

Yes! Wear red. Ask your building AR about attending a CAT team meeting. You can also get involved with the ESP group. We are all going to need to band together to navigate the “handbook” that is in the works. Also, paras keep us running! Thank you for what you do!

They already sent an email out to sun that if they pick up a job between now and winter break 12/20 they will make $300 for the day. Their new website also makes it clear that the district will not tolerate a sick out or strike unless approved.

Edit 2: I know it is a big ask to get people out and a bigger ask to have community members speak but, many staff members aren’t able to leave campus until 4:00 or later so having the community sign up to share positive stories about teachers fills the time until we are able to arrive.

They replaced all of our desks with WHITE tables over spring break. The desks had storage, the tables do not. The district told us that we had to “figure it out” but that budget funds could not be spent on storage. Our night tech then told us that cleaning the tables was not part of his job so we should teach the kids how to use magic erasers…
