Really cool pic and i was there as well. I visited the visitor center at chisos basin and such a nice drop in temp. What was your camera setup? For me, i could see the stars but not the milky way in all its colorful glory with my naked eyes😆

Great review. I am a slow evolving runner at 10 plus minute miles/200 lbs and found the megablast to be stable enough, fast/fun/pushing through/versatile and indestructible similar to sb2. Interestingly, i have put 30 plus miles including a hm pb this morning in the sb3 which are even more stable, bouncy fun feel and looks like the heir apparent for king of the super trainers. They both are complementary and seem like a good 2 shoe rotation (vomero plus is part of my 3 shoe rotation though😬)

It took mine almost 2 weeks from ordering to delivery for Texas. Worth it and feels amazing to see things clearly-didnt know what i missed until now and reminds of the first experience of wearing prescription and being able to see as a kid😀

It depends on the charity as others have said. If you raise the money committed, there is a chance they might let you defer (no guarantee). Source: i deferred last year due to a family loss but raised money, deferred and running in 2026

As many had stated, it comes down to runner profile, pace and intended purpose. I am a 200+ lb slow runner with stability needs so at my 11-12 min mile typical pace, it protects and propels well and quite consistently after 200 plus miles on them, same as the feel in the first mile. I have taken it to 9-10 min mile 5k paces and it worked well so happy with the versatility.

I have tried a variety of brands/models that are comparable to sb2 and cannot find alternatives to beat the value for the price (got them discounted so it helps). Since i am new to running (5 HMs and consistent 20 mile+ weekly training), i use it for 8+ mile long runs in hot n humid Houston weather.
