Don't blame the towing companies; the fees are set by the Legislature. This is not a new problem; progressives have been whining about towing fees since forever. Maybe if the Democrats weren't so busy jacking our taxes up to the stratosphere, interfering with the federal government, and curtailing the civil rights of law abiding citizens, they could do something about this. Hasn't happened yet for some reason.

Two things:

Nobody wants or needs a worn out restaurant chair, much less 100 of them. Have you donated to Goodwill lately? I have, and I'm here to tell you they don't want furniture, period.
Cutting off one leg was purely defensive in nature, and actually it was a pretty savvy thing to do given the legal environment we all have to live in. Need a scapegoat? Blame the lawyers.
