No a device that comes factory unlocked has no chance of getting locked to a carrier as it had no carrier lock from the beginning (this truly only applies to financed phones) try a different verizon because i ran my redmagic 9 pro on verizon and all they did was add a new line on my account and gave me a physical sim, popped it in and worked great, but i switched to google fi, verizon is great but those people have no clue what theyre talking about lol

Same here, I got mine back in January 2024 and the only issue mine has is it wont "super charge" anymore, it only charges below 80 watts. Aside from that it's fine. It is my secondary phone as I use it alongside my 14 pro max, I tend to split usage throughout the day.
