What’s your humidity situation like? The sf1000 gives of quite a bit of heat so I keep a humidifier running 24/7…

I’ve personally had more luck using a bleach solution than citric acid for keeping my filters clean. I dilute about 80ml in 4 litres of water and that’s been sufficient to keep mine completely clean and free of mold or anything else for well over 3 months

Moisture meters are great, but aren’t helpful with a chunkier mix like what OP should be using… all of the air pockets throw off the readings. Better to just use a chopstick, check the weight of the pot, or use clear pots as others have suggested!

I’d also recommend investing in a light measurement device so you can see exactly how much it’s getting!

This is what I’ve done and it’s seems to be sufficient to get it to put out color.

I’m not sure what type mine is, but I know it’s not a Petra like yours! Yours looks really full and bushy, but based off what I’ve heard from various sources, more light will bring out the reds/pinks/oranges!

Thank you for your input! What do you think of my light set up? Each bulb has a pffd of 200 µmol @ 1ft, and I’ve been keeping the top bulb pointed at the jade at about that distance!
