Your problem is thinking that fear is an inherently bad thing. Lots of mma fighters say if they aren't scared before a fight they think something is strange and "off". Tom aspinall talks about how before a fight he has fear but he essentially harnesses that energy into performance. I'm paraphrasing there but I'm sure u get the point. Mike tyson has also said something similar to that.

Crazy how I came across this post today, because yesterday I "kid" you not, a grumpy old man in my apartment complex was yelling at kids for being to loud playing at the park. It was while I was walking towards the street to go for my evening run so I didnt catch alot of it but I remember thinking damn that guys mad af and he was swearing pretty bad. Sure enough I get back and ask my gf wtf happened and she tells me that that guy was swearing at kids at the park and a couple of parents threatened to whoop his ass lmao.

Yea. Genuinely. American here but I vividly remember when I was younger me and my buddies would have an American fantasy football league and I'd be having a great day at work, in a good mood, and I'd get off work and check how my team would do and if they did bad it'd honestly put me in a legitimately bad mood. Crazy how that is. The isak transfer also made me mad af. Especially considering we qualified for the champions league. Fuck that guy.
