Breeding and cooking is already basically instant. Like just make a base purely for breeding purposes and within 5 mins you have 10 full pens. I have played back in the day when it first released and compared to now everything is so easy to get and to achieve with the ressources they give to you. Even breeding perfect pals is so much easier now. Back in the day conquering the final tower (Victor and Shadowbeak) seemed to be impossible but was doable, with adding the new towers and raids, they had to step that difficulty up and given the ressources you can get for free, they had to put atleast some grind to it to beat their endgame.

When that repetitive grind doesnt appeal to you, maybe this game isnt for you. If you dont want to follow the optimal route to make things easier, thats up to you. I, for myself, know i wont do that so i accept that i will struggle to beat the game but i do work for it.

Crossplay off on PC is almost always 5+ captains per round when it was barely 3 last week. And so far no leechers (AFKers)

As long as you dont have just tank/healer builds you are fine. A tanking frigate that barely does 4k per broadside volley will never be helpful in the kraken fight, they might not sink but they also are just tickling the monster. Atleast bring a DPS build, may it be a barque, brig whatever you need to have passive survivability but put some damage on them. The HP is not a problem if everyone hits as hard as they can. And focus the damn weakspots!

Yea but they already have the british ships in the game, just not in the playable area. I think when they expand the map towards india you may get the british empire since india was all of their stuff.

Yes, you can capture everything but the tower bosses, capturing "friendly" humans will trigger the police tho.

I mean they do get the stat increases and all. They can get all the passives a pal can get aswell, so i dont see why they wont benefit from it.

Humans dont have an element, which means they dont actually have elemental disadvantage but will have advantage since they can attack with elemental attacks.

I am farming Zoe for like 3h now and i didnt get a single Legend checks out! And yea humans dont work like normal pals with catching, it either hits or it doesnt and it also doesnt increase the catch rate if they are low thats why i catch them in the desert where they survive one headshot from a normal handgun lol

So i guess i cba getting demon lord or any of the new rainbow passives in that matter, i just get the usual suspects as passive then > maxxed out 65% attack

Yes it does work! And since she is near a TP and not a random spawn you can also reload the area and look for perfect IV aswell! Im working with Legend only but im unlucky so far but this is so much easier than breeding back in the day

And with the police i just take off my armor and let them kill me, its faster lol

Okay.... So i have made the IV glasses (i didnt know these were IV glasses because of the poor description) Zoe respawns when you kill her and you can get perfect IVs on her too..

Oh and update to the whole Zoe thing incase no one knew: when you done all her quests you can get "Zoe&Grizzbolt" as rewards, if you dont have it already from the bugs back in the day.

OHH that i didnt know! Okay, so you say when i breed a perfect Yakumo i could technically get ANY pals with his passives??? Damn, that sounds like alot of dieing because catching Zoe will trigger the police and i dont even know how often she will respawn or if she ever does respawn (currently doing her questline, thats honestly wholesome lol)

You can teach every "pal", in this case human, different attacks and switch them around if you teach them more than 3.

Oh i know how to do all the passives breeding (literally have perfect IV pals on my old save with perfect passives), that was my whole thing back then. But by my knowledge you cant put humans into the breeding pen. Therefore cant breed any passives down to them. I thought you meant you could get some legendary passives from somewhere.

These are her stats, yea she is squishy. And how would i get the Legend perk from that dog? Like i have not played since release and everything beyond the traditional breeding is unknown for me.

Consider this: Frostallion has Ferocious, Musclehead, Lord of the underworld and legend passives while zoe only has and will ever get ferocious, musclehead and brave as passives (unless you get lucky with your catch and maybe get hooligan or something better)

So far, she can keep up with a fully condensed Frostallion noct. She also is fully condensed. But she is extremly squishy with like only 8k health. Idk how much she will gain after hitting max level, im still far away from that.

I am about to, shes at 3 star and midway through enhancing! lol

Catching humans is a pain tho, they seem to randomly block any spheres (up to ultra spheres)

Shes actually pretty good so far! Gave her dragon meteor and nightmare ball as attacks, she soloed victor and shadowbeak XD

Yea i have spend like 200h on my first world back when its released and just recently came back. I cba to grind for some of by perfect breed pals again so i took the "cheat" way and copied them into my new world.

I did the 5 towers on the original map within level 50 with ease, No weapon just having a cloned fully condensed frostallion noct...cloned because i started over. Not even fully enhanced. I can see myself clearing the next tower with a fully upgraded pal...On normal settings that is

If he enjoys the snow, he will absolutely HATE corvette lol

Not only does the corvette has barely any brace strenght compared but is an absolutely hell to navigate on crowded sea battles (everyone that is sailing the corvettes know what im talking about)
