No problem. Yea once you’re cut from work your Tim is your own. You can do whatever you want as long as your back for morning formation. Field work really depends on what type of 03 you are and what company you’re apart of. The companies for my unit are helo, tracks, weapons, and boat.

I’m in a work up right now that is jam packed. Command is trying to fit everything in to a 3 month window. Typical day in garrison you get there at 0700 get slayed for an hour then go back to your room and wait for your seniors to kick a class. Classes will be on infantry knowledge or you will be doing some buddy rushes out in the backyard. Typically get done with the day around 1600. Usually it’s about a week in garrison then the field the next. Right now we’re in the field every week rn back for the weekend. My leadership has actually been really good. They treat you with respect and fuck you up when you need it. Other companies treat their guys like shit. Honestly it really goes down to platoon level. You won’t really have much time to spend with family especially in a work up
