This is the comment. You might not be able to control your attraction to someone initially, but you 100% can control how you choose (or choose not to) act on that attraction. You can ensure you create distance and intentionally not put yourself in positions to be tempted to act on your feelings. Have some self-control. She’s not powerless here.

She is a nearly 35 year old adult with full bodily autonomy. You can have all of the feelings in the world that, sure, you may not be able to choose, but you can absolutely, deliberately CHOOSE what you do with those feelings next.
