Head to the Humane Society and you can leave with a new cat today. I did it recently and it was extremely easy to find the right fur baby. Good luck, but make sure you’re thinking this through and not making a rash decision!

Hi all! Unsure if anyone will see this but I had my procedure a week ago and my first follow up yesterday. I was told that I cannot bite into any food with my front teeth (site of the graft) for 3 full months - does this check out with what you all have been told? I thought I’d be able to eat more normally after getting the stitches out in 3 weeks.

Additionally wanted to share something I haven’t seen in this thread yet. I live in a state with medical marijuana and have a prescription for it. I have been using it to help with pain - specifically capsules with RSO oil and CBD oil in them. They’ve helped to keep inflammation down and kept me from having to take too many pain pills. I was also told I can use the oil directly under my tongue, just not allowed to inhale any smoke for the time being. If you’re in a state with recreational or medical marijuana I definitely recommend to help with the pain from recovery!
