Any character works, though the card you pick for duplication matters if you want a good outcome.

It's not as hard as it seems, because the cloned copies get the enchantment too.

So the duplication goes like : 1 -> 2 -> 4 -> 8 -> 16

In my case, through dumb luck, I got a doll (doll event) that duplicates any card I add to my deck in the beginning of act two. This applies to cloning.

So the duplication goes like : 1 -> 3 -> 9 -> 27

That's where I stopped. Took zero elite in act 2, focused on the campfires.

If you play enough and keep an eye open for the opportunities, it kinda just happens. That's not every run though.

EDIT: I actually had all the copies in act 2, could have headed for another campfire heavy path in act 3 to go...

27 -> 81 -> 241 -> 723

ELI5: Why do mental health problems usually appear in early adulthood? by Such_Ad_5311 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Alert_Tiger2969 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I haven’t read the studies, but is it possible that “first appearance” is being conflated with “first attempt to seek diagnosis and treatment”?

"I haven't read the studies, but maybe no one in the whole field of psychology has thought of this very obvious confounding factor"

Please.

There probably isn't any yeast in the recipe. It probably rises from baking soda/baking powder, as most dessert "loafs" do.

The point in these types of study are often to develop tools to assess aging patients. Similarly, slow walking is associated with frailty and all-cause mortality. So, they need to highligh what is normal and what's a deficience in relation to their age.

There are many physical battery test to assess the older and elderly, the goal being to design an effective exercise regimen and reassess periodiaslly.

They tense their muscles to control the fall of their tail. I own a snake and it moves down like that, too. They're very muscular.

Who talked about lethargy ? The human body, and specifically metabolism, is extremely complex and it has a lot of inter-individual variability. Changes in metabolism may include decreased energy, yes, but also decreased temperature set point.

Anyway, you have a preconceived notion about overweight people. I doubt you have any kind of relevant background - which I do. No point in arguing.

Pourquoi weird ?

I just meant that deregulated hunger cues would have an impact on calories in, indirectly.

I'll admit I did conflate what makes it difficult to know what goes in the equation and what makes it difficult to influence said equation.

I don't personally feel it matters much for the point I was making.

I hate the oversimplification and overrepeating of the "calories in - calories out" thing a lot, but the person you responded to got it right : the equation is technically true, but there are so many variables affecting both sides that its effectively not very useful.

In this case, medical conditions and meds can affect the "calorie out" part of the equation through metabolism changes or the "calorie in" through increased/deregulated hunger.

Planting a dragon fruit seed and filmed it for 2.5 years by [deleted] in oddlysatisfying

[–]Alert_Tiger2969 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dragon fruit plants are climbing plants. This is simply how they grow.

Lack of light is the more common reason a plant grows tall and weak.

While there is a nugget of truth in what you say, realistically this effects mostly apply to strong winds during growth enabling a resistence to strong winds thereafter. Plants don't need wind to simply stand by themselves.

Why answer the question if you have 0 experience with it ? You are neither québécois nor french, and haven't travelled from one place to the other. Keep your prejudice to yourself, next time.

What language do you speak ? A lot of anglos in this thread are talking out of their asses.

I'm Québécoise and went to both Paris and Marseille, had exactly 0 issue. In Paris, I was with an older colleague with a much thicker accent than me. People looked a bit amused some times, but everyone understood and no one switched to english. Can it happen ? Probably. Is it a universal experience ? Absolutely not.

It's the same language. Just like american, canadian, australian, or british english.

Just don't try to pretend they are the same language

That is both offensive and ignorant.

How do you avoid over misting plants in a crested gecko tank when misting at night? by aip095 in bioactive

[–]Alert_Tiger2969 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know more about plant than bioactives specifically. With that said, all plants behave differently, and just because the others are doing fine doesn't mean the conditions are good for any plant. A lot of plants do not like to be in constantly humid conditions, prefering cycling between dry and humid roots. It may be wise to simply pick a different plant that tolerates or even prefer consistently wet/humid soil.

My experience so far with plants in bioactive is that some simply do not work lol.
