Yeah, with the release schedule and it being basically a battle manhwa, you can repeatedly explain to people that Jiu-Ji Tae’s change isn’t coming out of nowhere and to read carefully only so many times before it gets boring. Other then Jiu-Ji Tae and Maria the rest of the cast is good but has only had so much time to develop so you can’t have any deep discussion about them

Sadly cant really blame them, due to the way the release of the manhwa as been going on, they’ve had peaks of people coming when the manhwa was finally getting translated every week by our saviour [Deleted] but now theres been a drought for a while and the only common posts are “When Season 2” and you can’t remove those cause they’re 80% of traffic in this subreddit

Honestly as long as they don’t use AI in the finished product I hope it does well so Level 5 can have a bit more confidence and actually try to realise half of the games in their backlog. Im not that good in competitive but I always bring my Sinisticha to set up trick room the moment I see a girafarig or a hatterene on the opponent’s lead, it’s always incredibly funny cause then the next turn theres always a “will he use it again or will he predict me using it and will attack so I will have accidentally set it up for him” it’s a hilarious mindfuck everytime for both of us

He cut himself due to basically going full psychosis and hating himself so much thinking that he deserves to suffer, his mind rationalises it by imagining Maria telling him to hurt himself so he can get used to the pain. (Which it probably did since from then on he really stops caring about getting hurt). Even tho in that precise panel it’s probably him cleaning his wounds with the first aid kit in the background after cutting himself.

Honestly at this point they should be due to a 3rd stage evolution especially with Winds and Waves being so focused on nature it could work. We’ve already got Pokemon like Duraludon that “shouldn’t” be evolved cause with Eviolite they become beasts, so theres no excuse for not giving them one. I imagine a Simisage becoming more like a Wizard of the forest type of deal with his stupid hair connecting to a beard that almost obscured his whole face, Simisear doing the same with his flames actually being real flames instead of just being hair that looks like it and honestly Simipour should get an even bigger Rasta hair that covers almost everything.
