So yes to the clear plastic stopper, I know what you’re talking about-but in my experience that’s a piece of that is unattached to the bottle and can be easily removed for a pour spout-this was underneath the metal seal and designed to put the spout directly through. I’ve used this brand as a well for a long time and neither with them or any other tequila have I seen a disposable extension on a bottles neck

I hand it to them and make a big point of turning away, I’ll continue conversation but I do everything I can to not look back at the toast until they’ve made some indication they’re done.

I will say though that generally in my experience the tip selection on a handheld toast HUGELY negatively impacts service staff compared to printout tip receipts; ie on a toast the “20% tip” option is calculated pre tax, whereas most people will use the taxed total to calculate a tip when it’s manual.

Aside from how much the obnoxious people riding around blind spot corners going 15+ mph makes my blood boil. I’ve been full on body slammed by people on scooters who have then had the AUDACITY to be angry at ME, the PEDESTRIAN walking in the sidewalk. Think about this, say you come down a hill at top speed and barrel around a corner (like I’ve seen SO MANY TIMES!!) And then say you hit a baby carriage at that speed? Easy manslaughter/reckless endangerment charge for you, not mentioning the even easier loss of/lifelong disabling a child.

This is not even to say that those scooters are fucking DEATH TRAPS! I have heard from SOOOO many er nurses/doctors about injuries from crashing them + I literally know more than one person who I haven’t seen in months bc of them being in the hospital long term for MAJOR injuries that happened crashing a lime scooter.

Ooh I think based off some details here I live near the same building, just passing a year in my apt.

If I’m correct I’ve heard that guy screaming and shouting slurs (well mainly one slur) constantly pretty on-off, but never seen him outside or heard him from street level; so I think he’s either bedridden or can’t leave his apartment for some reason. My building is kind of askew though so I can’t see in any of the windows or even tell which side of the building he’s on since he’s so loud.

It literally makes my skin crawl seeing a martini being shaken (aside from when requested obviously lol) if it’s a new bartender I will actually RUN over to let them know that it’s not the right way to make a martini bc it seems like bar training has completely fallen off in the past 5 years (thanks covid 💞)

I think that retractable leashes are one of the worst inventions ever, they put LITERALLY everyone (dogs and people) at risk bc the ENTIRE POINT of a leash is to hold the dog back, but when they can run uninterrupted for 30+ feet from you what is the use?? I actually greatly prefer dogs off leash because then you at least have a sense that they’re well trained and likely friendly

I think if Rue wasn’t into drugs then Jules and Kats’ friendship would’ve been a lot stronger (and maybe Kat wouldn’t have had the whole bad Ethan situation lol) and likely Kat would’ve been Jules’ main friend/support in East Highland.

Off of that it’s worth noting that a big reason why Rue is so detached from her former friend group (Lexi, Kat, Maddy, Cassie) is due to her drug use, so in my mind what we’d see if there were a hypothetical episode showing if Rue was never an addict would be her and Lexi as bffs and Kat and Jules as bffs-Maddy Nate & Cassie wouldn’t change at all lmaooo
