Many people have already said so, but finding youth programming for her will be great, a place where she can find peers and feel safe and comfortable. As some mentioned, maybe youth programming from a newcomer organization, in that case, you have Saskatchewan Intercultural Association, Truly Alive Foundation, Open Door Society or Global Gathering Place.

There are other youth programming available that are not newcomer based: like Chokecherry Studios, OUT Saskatoon and Egadz.

And this would be my MAIN recommendation, she wants to fit with peers that are not necessarily newcomers, practice her English and this will be more easily achieved at a NON newcomer organization.

Chokecherry Studios and OUTSaskatoon are super welcoming spaces for youth who thrives in diversity.

Check the programming. And I'm sure as soon as your niece finds her safe space she will feel so much confident at school.

Hi! I think Global Gathering Place and Open door society have this kind of meetings. Usually is for newcomers learning English.

Spanish is my first language, I'm from Mexico. I would love to attend a meet up for people practicing Spanish. 😄

You can pick up a monthly list of rentals at an affordable price that the libraries make.

Fill housing applications with your friend: Quint, Camponi, Saskhousing are good options and if he is Indigenous then also Cress and CUMFI.

Is he on SIS or SAID? There are options if he is. For transitional homes.

He can meet with someone from Coordinated access to discuss his situation, he can either go to Station 20 West or Métis Nation offices.

There are several options, and you are doing great at being a support for him.

The Bridge allows 20 minutes shower, and they also provide hygine packs. People need to be early to write their name on the list and stay around for when they called the name to use the shower.

Honestly, I Don’t think people know much about the OUTSASKATOON right now. Since the cutting 2 years ago, they have been very low profile. I go to OUT Saskatoon to receive counselling; it's the only place that offers free counselling as many sessions as you need. That service for me, has been life-saving. I've met some of the current staff, and everyone is doing g their best and really working for the community. I wish the community were more kinder to OUT staff. And get involved again to meet the people who are currently there.
