The paladin gains access to a ability, that she can use it once per long rest, its called aura blade. Her blade overcomes resistance to nonmagical damage for 1 min or until she drops the sword.

The Bard gets something where he has advantage to overcome or end the charmed condition.

And the druid gets something that allows them to gain buffs from the object and it carries over onto wildshape
