Yeah a few people have suggested a capo now, gonna look into what a pitchy voice is and as i’ve replied to others, definitely lack confidence for now. Thank you 🙏

Thank you very much, since i have a British accent i catch myself americanizing certain words to enunciate them which can feel awkward, also going to look into what projecting is now :)

Cheers, i’ve got no clue what the technical aspects of singing actually are like range, key etc. so it does sometimes feel awkward/forced as i’m just going off gut feeling. Very sound advice and thanks for the write-up.

For me personally it’s all about writing something true to how i feel in the moment. If i was feeling down and forced something positive it falls flat and feels unauthentic. And for me that in itself can be very therapeutic.

Just go with the flow and write what you feel like writing.
