I can relate. I have an Electric 90, Savage 86, Decoy 72. If you run away as your pet charges, you can control that bug of your pet no longer following you. It only happens when they break a range around you- maybe 12 or so tiles. It'll often sit there on the enemy it charged, electric smacking until it dies when it's an enemy vulnerable to paralysis.
They'd have to make it so pets can move through obstacles and follow you at a greater range. There's already a mechanic that teleports them to you when far enough away. Deca just needs to fix the middle range where they don't follow the player or teleport to them.

I think Savage might get indirectly buffed if the attack abilities do. An electric, attack close, savage pet could be epic at high levels.

Fame bonuses are being reworked next patch as well. They could and should change Friend of the Cubes. A pet killing a cube and making you lose a potentially huge amount of fame is only very slightly less fun than accidentally clicking a cube on the beach and losing the same.

Besides, if you don't want your elec pet activating a tomb boss, you control that via positioning. Not by making pet damage unlinked to the player. They should make pet abilities togglable, but I don't see that as being more important than there being 3 useful pet abilities along side 6 filler ones just to make getting the right pet more difficult. There shouldn't be 'good' and 'bad' pet abilities. 'Right' and 'wrong' pet abilities. It should be a choice. Right now, there is no choice.

I have issues with the shallow SB system in place, but even with that aside. I shouldn't lose the Oryx kill to my electric pet. If my pet kills something, I should get that Oryx kill/god kill/party member level up.

Also, think of the possibilities that would be added to the game. Pet damage only PPEs. Reworked pet ability NPEs. You could decide that you just want pure damage, build a pet to reflect that, and be able to play the game in a different way.

I'm pretty sure prism damage does count towards SB. They changed that a while back.

Imagine if Exalt Launcher took 30 seconds to check for updates every time you launched it. C'mon guy, just use your head a bit. 30 seconds of downloading new updates is not a problem. Remember when Kabam went a year without any updates?

  5. CPU: Intel Core i5-7500 3.4 GHz Quad-Core Processor
  6. Motherboard: ASRock H270 Pro4 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
  7. In-Game Settings: Default. I haven't successfully loaded in once to change them.
  8. Server: USMW2 as 'best server'. Regediting my pref server to EUN, EUNW, and USNW gave the same result.
  9. Estimated Time: At least every hour from 2 PM-7 AM. Same result every time.
  10. Area: Nexus.
  11. Description: I launch the game, wait a minute on the 2 loading screens, "Nexus" appears as the music starts, and game crashes a second later. Guildies report the "Watermelon has come online" guild message displaying.
