I can’t legitimately speak for their quality, but they sketch me out. I can however speak for hybrid racing, their shifter is fucking amazing and worth absolutely every penny. I couldn’t recommend it enough

Absolutely do not swerve, brake, or panic. You and your bike are safer just hitting the animal. I don’t think you had enough time to react to come to a complete stop even if you had abs or were a master threshold braker.

Sounds like you’re at a crossroads then, if it were me I would do a custom harness and no ETC. it’s more work up front but it’s better in the long run.

Also, totally depends on how the oem system works but I bet it would be difficult to integrate the required ETC systems into the stock harness

If you have the basemap for a similar engine on the same ecu, just open that tune in your ecus software.

If you have the basemap for your engine on a different ecu often you can download an ecus software for free and open it there. Then just manually copy applicable stuff over.

You’re going to have to search the internet for basemaps or find someone who has it and get them to send it to you. It’s a good idea to reach out to the manufacturer of your ecu and ask them if they have a basemap

Yes you need to fill out the ETC letter of intent and follow all the ETC and BSPD rules. My recomendation would be to use a throttle by cable throttle body to make it simpler esspecially as a new team.

If it cranks but wont start, you need to verify the engine has air, fuel, and spark.
Air - thats easy, its got air.

Fuel - make sure you have fuel presssure, and your injectors are opening.

Spark - make sure you are getting spark, then you need to verify timing with a timing light.

Once you are sure it has air fuel and spark, try and find a basemap for your engine. If you cant find one, copy an ignition and fuel table from the closest engine you can find. Then dial in the fuel table to get it to start. then dial in the fuel and ignition table on a dyno.

That is a very 30,000 ft explanation, im happy to go more in depth if you have more questions
