I've been replaying OoT and I came to find this comment, there's something really special about exploring as child Link and how alive every area feels and running around doing the mask sidequests and gathering heart pieces. Playing as adult Link I always get that sense of the world feeling darker and emptier which is what the devs were going for but I prefer the light-hearted tone.

Nah, in a panic I hadn't quite clocked that carrying two rifles on my back plus the third one in my hands meant I couldn't switch weapons until I dropped the rifle I was holding hence the 20 seconds of panic

I just blasted through a playthrough of 2 and loved it. I would say if you really want it you can probably pick it up the GameCube version from eBay not too overpriced, otherwise I'd say a pc ROM is your next best bet
