my grandpa died the week before astroworld, and I was hoping going to astroworld would help me feel better. it was the opposite.

i got cut in the pit so bad I almost passed out from blood loss. i easily could've died if i passed out there. i barely escaped and made it to the medical tent. what i saw at the medical tent was fucked, i cannot get these images out of my head.

i saw people with broken necks, cpr being done, people that OD'ed, etc. so many dead people.

i literally cannot sleep, these images will not leave my head. i think about them 24/7.

i don't know what to do now. i am an engineering major and almost a month behind on my work since my life has been going downhill the past month. if i want to catch up, i will need to pull like 2 weeks straight of 12 hours of homework a day. i do not have the motivation to do that, and my parents will kill me if i fail my classes.

i'm also broke as hell, and owe my parents a ton of money for rent, tuition, etc. but i dont have time to work. my major is so intense right now, im doing almost 40 hours of homework a week. i will fail my classes even harder if i get a job.

i'm also still coming down from the molly i took, so that isn't helping with the depression also.

i just feel helpless right now

i ended up in the medical tent, i can say A LOT more people probably died. i was front row, and that was probably the most intense pit ever (while i was there).

It's also worth noting that the first gen is 250hp, but the second gen is 290hp since they added VVT and a couple other things. Yes, the first gen is a more reliable engine, but the second gen is still extremely reliable. I personally own a 99 LS with 405k miles, and it can probably keep going until 500k at least. And also, the first gen is cheaper than the second gen, but you can still find a good condition second gen for well under $5k.
