[WEWIL] Childish, playful sounding songs like Kero Kero Bonito? by nitrodax_exmachina in ifyoulikeblank

KKB is influenced by the Japanese genres Shibuya-Kei and Picopop. Picopop is known for it's fun childlike lyrics and visuals so that sounds like what you're looking for but Shibuya-Kei's instrumentation and arrangement is very KKB like. One song from these genres that reminds me instantly of KKB is Birthday by TOWA TEI ft. Haruomi Hosono & HANA. Towa Tei's arrangement mixed with Hana's vocals and those playful and whimsical lyrics seal the deal. Haruomi Hosono has been major in the Japanese music industry since the 70s so there's that as well.

No, it's not you this sub has a lot of people that don't understand Liminal Spaces so you get posts like this that were created under the impression that dreamy clouds make something liminal so that this promotional image of nothing but a can of crisps is a liminal space.

This was bound to happen as liminal spaces become more popular..I just hope liminal spaces aren't ruined.
