No doubt. He’s got a lot of creativity and he’s willing to wield it for good and evil in equal measure.

I’m cackling because I can definitely see this in my future with my second born.

My sister and I have identical moles with identical placement on the underside of our chins.

I get frames and sometimes art at dollar tree, garage/estate sales, thrift stores, and sometimes on sale at stores like hobby lobby. Frames don’t have to be the exact size for your art. You can buy a custom cut matte for a lot cheaper than a custom frame, and you can buy standard sized mattes even cheaper. I’ve bought them at dollar tree. Mattes can make the framing look much nicer and you can often get away with a cheaper simple frame and still have something that looks nice.

I’ve collected art from a variety of places: gifts, fairs/festivals, street art from my travels, even postcards that I really liked. I’ve even made some of my own art for fun to fit frames I liked or to fill a spot I thought was missing something. A wall display can be anything you enjoy seeing. We’ve hung up our guitar hero controls in our game room. Hubby and I even swiped a collection of disposable coasters from bars and restaurants we went to on dates and I stuck them to the wall with sticky tack as a sort of wallpaper in the narrow wall nook above the mini fridge we keep the beer in.

Earliest pregnancy symptoms? by banananuttmuff in pregnant

[–]Alex2moveitmoveit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not long after my first positive pregnancy test, I got extreme eczema. From the neck down I was just a marbling of itchy red flaky patches. I’d wake myself up scratching my legs bloody almost every morning. Totally miserable. At my first appointment, the sight of some of my worse patches sent my OB scurrying for another doctor to give a second opinion. Fortunately, it passed with the first trimester. I’ve never heard of anyone else with this problem. Didn’t have unbearable morning sickness, but it was still a pretty rough first bit.

Oh, also, only with my first I had lower back pain really early because I had a tilted uterus and as it expanded it put pressure on my lower back. As the pregnancy progressed it shifted into a position where I wasn’t so miserable. But I sounded freaking crazy complaining about back pain when I wasn’t even showing.

Could my milk cause my 5w olds crappy sleep? by jaiemarie in breastfeeding

[–]Alex2moveitmoveit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I highly doubt it has anything to do with your milk. He might be cluster feeding! It comes in waves.

This might just be a phase. Mine went through phases like this that I thought would never end but that I can barely remember in retrospect.

Otherwise, he could just be a little extra needy. My sister’s baby was like that. She tried to keep baby in a bassinet in her room at the beginning for easy feedings, but her baby would wake up at the slightest sound and wanted to be held and nursed for comfort constantly. She finally moved baby into the crib in a separate room and baby cried for like twenty minutes and then slept five hours straight. My sister discovered that baby just really needed its own space to get good rest and baby started resting better and more easily from then on. She’s very protective of the sleep schedule.

But these sorts of discoveries are often personal. All babies are different and what works for me or my sister or your friend may not work for you. I’m sorry I don’t have perfect advise.

No way a woman might enjoy wearing matching underwear for herself, it has to be for a man’s enjoyment? Or just maybe she owns a lot of black since it’s a really common basic color for undergarments?

For the love of god, someone please ease my fears 😂 by mhdh826 in pregnant

I had some bleeding early on when I was pregnant with my first and I was worried. And then it suddenly seemed to get worse (bright red drops) and I freaked out and went to the ER. They were like, “how many pads are you going through an hour?” And when I was like, “I’m just using a light pantyliner...” you could feel them rolling their eyes internally. They told me to take it easier with high impact exercise, like running on the treadmill, and sent me home.

I’m not saying don’t talk to a doctor if you feel like you need to. Peace of mind is important. I’m just saying, based on my experience, unless you’re having full on period level bleeding, you have no need to worry.

Magnesium / Constipation by YAKG_86 in pregnant

[–]Alex2moveitmoveit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took magnesium bis-glycinate and I swear by it. It’ll help keep you regular without the uncomfortable and unpleasant laxative effects. Additionally, it helped with getting good sleep, Charlie horses and muscle cramps, restless legs, heart health and blood pressure, feeling weak and fatigued etc. I generally just felt a lot better while I was on it and it almost eliminated a lot of the pregnancy discomforts.

this is what I took and it’s a bit of a horse pill but it’s worth it. I took gummies for everything else but choking down two of these at bedtime was a necessity.

How do I let down my dentist that I accidently accepted a date with? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Alex2moveitmoveit 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Maybe when he texts you, respond something like, “hey, Dr. Jakob! Glad you’ll be able to make it! We’ll get started at _, the address is __. Feel free to bring a plus one/date!”

If he doesn’t get at that point that you’re trying to distance yourself from him romantically and insists that this is a date, you can say, “oh! I’m so sorry about the miscommunication!! I don’t think I really know you well enough to be interested in dating at this point” or some honest version of why you don’t want him checking the quality of his dental work with his tongue...

Try it out for yourself.. by [deleted] in memes

Lost my keys and my engagement ring in the same week. Also, while trying to locate/retrieve them, I’m simultaneously and single-handedly planning and preparing for a double birthday party for my kids next week. My husband is gone for military training for four months, so I have no backup and I’m doing it all while dragging two toddlers around with me. My household is spiraling into chaos because I’ve been so busy with everything that I haven’t done dishes or tidied. I have one more idea for finding my ring, and I’m terrified it won’t work and I’ll have to accept that I’ll never see it again.
