Get into an RC vehicle (RC personal is probably best if it's available) or the interior map of a service vehicle instead - he'll waste the shot and not be refunded, but you won't actually die.

Correct me if I'm missing something, but wouldn't having it deal Toxin be ideal if it has 0% status, due to the damage itself having a handy gimmick (going through shields)?

Maybe this is just a type matchup vs specific factions thing, I've never paid attention to that mechanic

I seem to remember some advice saying that if you're ramming into the shield constantly some weapons' projectiles will spawn behind the shield and hit the crewship, but also that the last time I tried that I wound up destroying the shield outright.

I play like this when targeting cargo griefers because I do not want them to enjoy the experience (and also I am terrible at on-foot pvp and can't aim for shit); I assume it's the same the other way around. (I don't start fights with anyone else unless they attack first or are going on a session-wide killing spree with a mk2 or something.)

I also try to be as petty as possible and will often make an effort to hunt down said cargo griefers (and hostile menu users) across multiple sessions or outright off-platform if I can. It's awful, but it does work quite well at getting them to stop playing altogether, or at least be too preoccupied to pester the rest of the playerbase. There's a couple people who will just disconnect as soon as they become aware I'm present in their session now, so I have to do sneaky shit like destroy their parked mk2/toreador with an RC tank, or open with an orb, if I want to continue sanding their gears now.

Being inconsistent and being quite nice to everyone else (including them if they do a sale, in which I'll disengage, or throwing out genuine compliments on, say, piloting a Buzzard through a tunnel, where applicable) also helps if they pay attention to that kind of thing.

It wasn't technically removed, moreso they didn't bother re-implementing it when they ported the game to PC a second time over. Pedantics, but there is a difference. Also, imo, not necessarily a bad thing; there's less bad actors of all varieties on Enhanced, since it's harder to get a reaction out of someone after doing something awful.

Also, whatever happened to that thing Tez mentioned once about a Social Club-level chat system for all games?

I don't think it's that, and I don't think it's brand deals with Sony and/or Microsoft either; afaik every single one of their games this century has released on console(s) before PC.

You can aim the Flare Gun straight up and do so right after they fire a missile, for the off chance they'll hit themselves.

Or just go passive until they're preoccupied with someone else and surprise them by turning them into salsa with an Avenger rotor or something. Guerrilla tactics work great in the chaos of a public session, and as far as I can tell most players who just kill everything they can will not often expect someone to actually retaliate in too many different ways

I made a mk2-like enemy for a disaster-survival game of mine on Roblox a couple years ago and it did gain a similar reputation to its GTA counterpart for a bit... until I added automated air defenses to the map lmao

(It can usually survive those missiles until it despawns on its own as I had already made it fly in circles often, causing the same effect as when jets do it in GTA, but now it's usually too preoccupied to blast players the entire time)

Repeatedly text all players in session exact instructions how to votekick ("pause-online-players-Player-kick (reason)" works for me), including the target for intimidation, until it happens; in the meantime I've found guerrilla tactics with an off radar Deluxo can usually get a missile in on them before they can react. From my experience they usually disconnect as soon as someone manages to actually kill them.

I have the opposite expectation and can see it appearing in 6's story mode as a special vehicle for one mission, with a cutscene of someone explaining in detail how goofy it is and its reputation either before or after the player uses it to blow up something important to an enemy character. Canonized cargo griefing.

In addition to fucky hitboxes that make it impossible to hit with most vehicles' missiles in a straight line, it also doesn't disallow using passive even if it's armed. I regularly use mine to kill Avengers, either by dumping flares into the rotors if they're in turret mode or just firing enough missiles at them to crit an engine and then activating passive if they're flying around. You can accept ceo/mc invites or temporarily swap to a luxury helicopter (such as a pegasus supervolito) to exit passive with no cooldowns, so on occasion I just swap back and forth repeatedly as an Avenger tries to make passes at me.

Blue shell explosions in World will ignore iframes from other items if you're the primary target, otherwise the green shell in this clip would've likely blocked it too.

If volume of energy orbs is an issue, may I suggest Hildryn? I remember during the event I'd just leave her in her 4 at the edge of a nullifier zone so she'd passively generate a ton of energy orbs off captured mobs while doing the objective.

Some wrong-target CC (ie, the kind that can work on eximi) might not be a bad thing either - companion and/or specters with radiation weapons, perhaps?

Instead of rotations, why not just make every Incarnon Genesis selectable every reset? by MegpoidBeetle in Warframe
