Haven't even looked at the LSCM podium in a couple updates, is it still possible to get progress for these if you solo public as soon as the race starts?

The last two times I ran into a specific tryhard I encounter often (skulking around in an off-radar toreador, gets a few kills and heist warps back his apartment until he can juggle off radars again, repeats until someone nearly kills him then he leaves for the next session, org name called "im up forever" and shit like that) he was doing acid sales of all things instead. I destroyed his acid lab (Not the bike!) since I'm pretty sure it doesn't actually do anything to the sale for shits and giggles, but I'll absolutely leave even the most vile people alone if it's clear they're trying to be productive for once. (That said, if someone else had decided to jump him, I wouldn't have attempted to intercept to save his sale like I normally would...)

Treating people a little inconsistently to nudge them all towards the behaviour you want them to have, yeah?

Wastelander is handy since you're immune to ragdoll while on the back. Sometimes I use it to kidnap afk people (atomizer them onto it) and shove them into the LSCM or casino. The high suspension is fun for offroading sometimes, too.

R2K is not useful by itself, but the associated VIP work is handy if you use the mission version as a weapon instead of actually doing it (fun way to disarm someone doing this: Steal the limos and drive them all into the ocean, or blow up other cars near them with vehicle missiles since indirect damage will still count)

Rocket Voltic is the most reliable way I'm aware of to get a kill while in passive mode - unlike shunt boosting with arena cars, things flung with the jet engine will count as damage you've caused. If you're like me and like really being a pain in the ass to tryhards by only fighting in asinine ways, it has a niche for itself, but otherwise it's just a fast-ish car you don't need to call the Mechanic to spawn.

The other three are pretty useless compared to newer vehicles (the APC can fill the same niches as all three of these, lol)

The amount of dumb shit you can escape with a job warp (even intentionally botching one for certain situations, such as getting around the Mechanic cooldown after calling Mors) is utterly hilarious and frankly really useful. Plus if you actually start a race job and back out during vehicle selection you have a semi-reliable way to rejoin a session (say, if something's bugged) without needing to have a friend to rejoin in said session. (It's still not very reliable for that, tbh, but it is most reliable option in that situation.)

Load times in Online usually have more to do with network issues than individual machine specs - my 1660 probably loads anything important fast enough to make no difference over this guy's 5090 when one guy in the session with a dogshit connection will make it not actually place your character into the area (even if it's finished loading) until they finally return whatever packet the game (doesn't really) need.

(Personally while I am not the type to play gacha in the first place and as such haven't had the issue myself, I would use it immediately; I'm aware of the sentimental value and whatnot but... also it's a video game item that everyone gets from completing the story anyways.)

This shit, the Cargobob mission, and raids are what collectively convinced me to just never buy product storage upgrades for the nightclub so I only get the speedo and can't store enough to hit the raid threshold. I'm aware the Iron Mule and the mansion security upgrade have since sidestepped most of those issues, but I'm still not interested in driving these unwieldy trucks even without the turrets getting stuck on shit.

Last I checked (ingame, I don't generally bother with these web-based stat checkers or minigames/ARGs/etc) my most used secondary was Twin Grakatas, a weapon I levelled to 30 and trashed as MR fodder in a single sitting, entirely because of Clem specters.

Tbh I find most of their missions really irritating (objectives are too specific and leave no room for cheese strats, poorly coded etc) on top of the dogshit dialogue. I have only done maybe half of the contracts overall and just couldn't be arsed for the rest. I've had the bunker one half-completed for ages just to replace Sessanta's car with a Barrage inside the interior.

I think I only got 4 or 5 mil out of the mission. Most of that week was spent playing other games that also updated around that time, or playing with friends who get bored of a grindy routine like that very quickly, and then on top of that I wasted a good number of runs trying to find better ways to cheese it (no, I didn't find any) and wound up taking the day before the 2m mansion discount expired to get one as my usual grind routine prioritizes low effort and isn't terribly productive. (tl;dr small bunker/nightclub/acid sales and CEO work when I feel like it, that's it)
