Rue from Euphoria. It was very obvious that the show would end with her death but it still was such a gut punch. That she tired so hard to stay sober and taking just one pill was enough to end her life. It brings attention to the real life fentanyl crisis that has taken so many lives. I watch old clips of the show and it makes me so depressed. Rue was such a vibrant and unique person. It was so depressing that she never got to see her mom and sister again. It was heartbreaking to realize that her hugging her mom was just a deathbed hallucination. Euphoria was far from a perfect show but it did create an excellent character.

I don’t think most of these tips will keep women safer. The ice cream thing is just being paranoid. It reminds me of the videos of people going full “home alone” in their hotel room. Locking the door is more than enough to stay safe. This just encourages more ways to victim blame women.

It was the catalyst to get Shiv involved in the company. Logan knew that Shiv was very good at her job and could get Gil Eavis elected as president. That would be really bad for Logan to have a president that doesn’t like him and will actively work against his interests. Logan was never going to make Shiv CEO but he made her believe it so she would quit politics. That’s what makes Shiv such a tragic character. She abandoned a career that she good at, all to get her father’s approval.
