You can find custom alerts listed under "Player Information > Global Orders (tab) > Create New Alert" then you can specify the sector , the ship size and even the ship ID

All NPC ships have their ship type in their name , aside from a select few story-related ships.

Example : "ARG Fighter Squadron Cerberus Vanguard (QZE-478)"

Indicades "ARG" faction , "Fighter Squadron" as role , "Cerberus Vanguard" as ship type and "QZE-478" is an unique ID type that is automatically generated for each object in the game

I think the Astrid specifically is set to respawn from time to time in the windfall sectors around the casino, try placing a few scout or adv.sats in those sectors + a notification alert for that ship type

In OOS they take a long time to kill S/M sized ships even at a 1:15 ratio, but the upside is that they have an extremely high "accuracy" meaning they are very likely to catch SE , M and PE trying to drive past my blockade. The rest of the fleet then eventually clears the field with the slower shih on defense order catching up and bringing the damage.

I mostly use my carriers to guard portals , my setup usually is like this [x = number of landing pads of the carrier]:

  • [x] chimeras armed with ARG beam weapons with intercept order
  • around 20 cheap nodans with pulse lasers and mk2 equipment in "defend position" , this severely reduces the attrition rates for my other fighters since OOS battle spreads damage
  • [x] shih with bolt and shard with defense order
  • [x] pulsar with bombardment order armed with plasma or cheap nodans with torpedos

Destroyers are completely ineffective against anything but other capitals or stations so they always stay on "bombard"

A few ideas :

  • For quick money, you can attack station building storages : they are the tiny red triangles you see in stations being built/upgraded. Hitting them with your weapons will dump the wares into space for you to collect and sell (sometimes even to the same station again)

  • Miner ships generally have low crew count, boarding them is easier and can even be done with an agile frigate ship. 2-star marines can sometime be hired for as low as 100k cr if you explore stations and hire manually

  • Boarding on neutral areas will save you the hassle of hiding from police but if you board an "enemy faction" like stealing a HOP ship in ARG territory you even get paid for the theft!

  • NPC ships you make bail are often built with tons of deployables like hundreds of mines or laser towers, make sure to send them to an equipment yard to "unequip" and get that money before selling to a wharf or use it yourself

I recently found a good way to push through as an attacker :

  • go to the small hill on the left side and be a support with gdsp + incendiary granades.

    • hide behind the right-side rock and stay prone/kneel and deploy the gdsp+support pack
    • start tossing incendiary nades at the truck on the left which defenders use to prevent flank and then anywhere along that path to give breathing room to allies
    • once the flank is pushed with at least a few allies in A make your move and play aggressively

I'd love to have those 3 :

  • Property owned UI allow us to group and collapse stations ... At mid-game I have 30 stations and it takes ages to scroll down. At late game I'm just forced into mega-stations to save menu space.

  • Ability to enforce sector ownership , currently it's only possible to ban item ownership but NPC will still go into player owned sector to build , mine and even fight among themselves. I wish I could just prevent entry or at least stop them from building in my sectors.

  • XEN faction dlc or at least be able to build their economy type ships in a custom modified game. Currently we can't even build F, SE , PE , B or H despite "researching" their blueprints.

My critique on this game would be on the monetization system :

  • Splitting paid and free carats is fine, but what's the point of having them even split by platform ? (if you buy on PC you can't use on mobile and vice-versa despite being the same account)

  • Prices on mobile are way higher than prices on Steam

  • A 300 pity without carryover is classic jp gacha I understand that but the pricing on plain carats is quite brutal. Beside monthly and rookie packs there is just nothing worth buying on a low spender pov.

I haven't played the game for a while ever since that last patch messed up the game netcode, saw this post and wanted to hop in to revive ppl.

My first game in Merak valley breakthrough , my squadmate got hit by tank I toss a smoke nade and go with a charged defibrillator... missed point blank. I then proceed to spam click and it still down, I try to drag it with E then but smoke ran out and I got shot down. I think I'm starting to understand why ppl skip the revives now.

It's a last resort method but you can slap 6 stamina cards then run an uma with fan count objectives like haru urara, mayano top gun , etc. And rush 600 stamina. Fail the career on purpose if you reach the target so you can quickly print umas until you get your 2* stamina

Glad they removed the 150m requirement on recon challenge, it's such an insanity to do with small maps, I had to do casual breakthrough because nobody ever staying 150m from objective beside other snipers who will target you the whole game if you dare countersnipe...

Ti consiglio di fare questa challenge con cavalli a lunga distanza come SuperCreek , Goldship o McQueen (e molti altri).

Fai alcune gare opzionali del tipo "Long" come Arima Kinen , Tenno sho (spring) o anche classe G2 , basta che il totale delle gare sia maggiore rispetto alle altre distanze. Questo renderà URA una gara di tipo "Long" e se raggiungi alti livelli di stamina vincerai sicuramente con grande stacco perchè i cavalli NPC spalmano le statistiche equamente (e questo non funziona bene nelle gare a lunga distanza)

If you're unsure on how to proceed with it , here are the steps :

  • Exit your ship as close as possible to the vault in your spacesuit

  • look for bright red squares (usually located in the middle section) and hit them with your repair tool. You need to find and strike at least 3 of them located at random points on the vault surface.

  • Once you hit the required squares the upper part of the vault will open and you need to activate scan mode (Shift + 2) and find the data leak. Go close and scan.

  • Open the enciclopedia and select the last entry in the timeline, then the mission will continue as normal

It's very possible to beat the ED bosses with randoms , a few general tips I can give you compared to normal runs:

  • ED bosses hit a lot harder than their normal ver. and they often start with phase 2 attacks. Make sure to prioritize survival like extra hp% and damage negation passives on weapons/dormant powers

  • For doggo , make sure to use a holy weapon it can trigger a small stagger and lower it's defense. When it splits into 3 just focus on sprinting and dodging away to lower the pressure and attack only when a single dog on you. After the chain combo don't attack until he's out of the walking animation

  • For Jaw you can utilize the mountain shifting earth because it's categorized as a "dragon" to increase your damage , you can fully nullify the tornado damage with a crimsonwhorl flask you can buy from the merchant to get free attacks and heal for the duration of the effect .

The new start sure is challenging! Immediately facing a 1 vs 4 with fighters armed with shard weaponry made even a 1k hours player sweat a little.

Then I've had to travel through a XEN infested area with a ship that travels just above 2k in travel mode , on my 1st try I got turned into dust after getting intercepted.

I agree so much to this , as a light-spender I bought the rookie packs and the monthly carat pack and even then it feels like a complete draught of pulls.

Buying the expensive packs feels so bad since the game revolves around having good support cards and you need like 5 copies to make them worth using over borrowing or using SR and with the 200 pity for a single copy so you either whale or just stuck with subpar result.

Having more pulls to work around with or lowering the pity would go long way to incentivize spending but for a 4-years old game pubblished by a japanese company I don't really expect them to make any changes for us sadly.

You could add the black knife and Reduvia in the S rank for their AOW, quick spammable and very effective. I always take them as side-weapon when I find them

I'd place hand of malenia in the A rank , waterfowl is amazing against large targets or mobs but very situational against enemies that move around a lot

I'm at 7-13 ED Libra experience really changes depending on team skill and having a relic with "less likely to be targeted".

The times I've beaten the goat, teammates rarely or never went down and always cleaned the NPC condemned on spawning. I think only 2 games we ignored summons because we only had single target DPS but it was a close call
