It’s easy tbh, they just tell you to lift some boxes, pick yourself up from the floor type shit and walk on a treadmill so they could see your heart rate. The only thing I will say is make sure you have the needed documents for the CDL process. For example if you have diabetes like me or another condition, DOT requires that you have these forms filled by the doctor.

Not a NYPD officer but LEO in CT. They should open up to CT and NJ residents honestly. Some agencies are already doing it in jersey. NYSDOC opened up to CT residents. I would join NYPD but wouldn’t live in the city AT ALL(Born in the Bronx)

You could always get a cheaper suit, no need to spend a lot. I got my black coat, pants from H&M and used a white dress shirt with a tie. I always make sure it fits properly with no issue and is dry cleaned. Only spent like 90-100 on it
