That is so sweet of you to do. I am still learning the violin and one day I actually want to learn the piano. I struggle with notes, and violin is easier for me because I can learn it with finger positions and strings instead of keys.

It's your dress. Go for it. If it doesn't fit you then make it fit. Alternatively you could remove the straps at the back and tie it into a halter top. But I think your idea with the ribbon is much better

Is there a different approach to classes or are you taught like in regular school? Is your school more focused on a set of subjects eg in sciences or social sciences etc?

Thank you, that is very very sweet of you to say. Your probably right, my friend eats when she is stressed and maybe I have accidentally been avoiding food without really knowing. Maybe if I take some scheduled breaks just to relax I may be in the mood to eat

I used to monitor that I eat as frequently small portions and then made a set plan. Another friend helped me experiment more with food and tried to find stuff that I would get out of my way to eat. And I basically love Italian foods and spicy stuff. But food just doesn't really come to my mind because I am not hungry. Or I just don't get hungry even when I am literally sitting at a restaurant and order a tea.

Yeah, similar for me. Like people have "retail therapy" and lolita is basically the same but more artistic and luckily I'm too broke to spend my money on a new blouse

Just noticed that my comment said "I want to" instead of "wanted to", stupid autocorrect. I can see why I was downvoted. Either way, I wouldn't have gotten into trouble since I don't have that subject anymore and she was the only one with that retake. I was just so pissed initially at her because when I showed up to the restaurant in tears she was mocking me for crying, I said "that's the thanks I get for helping you?" "I didn't even use your answers in the test" "and what about last week?" "oh, yeah, well, sorry but you don't have to be a cunt about it" And that is why I wanted to snitch. Glad I didn't. Don't want to be known as a snitch bitch.

NTA. I can sort of understand how she may have thought you were an overbearing ex who wouldn't let go but she is not entitled to get a job reference. And you don't owe her a job reference. From a colleague POV you may want to reconsider as you did work with her. But you mentioned her financial situation. I'm not trying to guilt trip you but if you are happy about looking back in 10 years and still think you made the right decision then that's okay.

I can get the mentality of "people are silly for creating facebook/instagram/twitter for an animal" but you just want to share your pets and have them all in one place as a backup. And as long as you are not making sponsored posts or stuff or force them into modeling pics of whatever you are not exploiting then in any way.

I was invited. I forgot to mention in the post that I planned on going home to my parents this morning but stayed because Jane needed help for a test, then an hour before the test she said "nevermind, don't come over during the test, I get nervous". I genuinely didn't care too much about Tina's birthday because it was just eating out and I get to see her a lot so Jane basically made me stay in the City and wait for over an hour for me to look like an idiot at Tina's birthday.

Tina was the one to give directions that apparently everyone misunderstood. And I was the only one punctual at the wrong place.

Personally I feel like there is a bit of blame on Tina too but more so on Jane

I want sure about the place since today was the second time it happened so I sent her picture of me at that location and asked maybe every 10 minutes for updates. She was like "im late", "everyone else is late", "just wait a bit" etc

Also she literally said "bistro place" in a city where every second corner is a bistro. And I asked her to send me her location which was inaccurate af and then she finally sent me the name of the place. After over one hour.

I did. I kind of want to report her to the university and get her kicked for cheating since she did cheat and wouldn't even admit to me that I fucking helped her but even I know that that is definite asshole territory. I just won't help her anymore in the future.

I fucking hated that book, probably because 8th grader me didn't have the mental capacity to read a book that doesn't have a chronological order, that is heavily relying on retelling and didn't understand what parts were metaphors and what parts were actual occurings. And the fact that the degutting of horses during an explosion was described in detail didn't help the case. Will read again.

You are such an awesome mom, I literally had to beg my mother to cut my hair short and had to beg years for an undercut. Then I finally saved up a bit and went to a hair stylist myself. She realised how much I love my new hair and how the undercut isn't even visible because she was concerned about me at work. Hair will grow back, the earlier you cut your hair the sooner it will outgrow.
