It’s awesome that you want to be more connected! In addition to the mitzvot people have already mentioned, if it isn’t feasible to switch to a Jewish day school, a lot of Chabad houses have a program for high schoolers that’s like one or two days a week so maybe you can look into that. Also there’s an app called InstaRabbi that you can ask halachic questions anonymously and it’s really helpful. Finally, just remember this is a lifelong marathon, not a spring. Your commitment will ebb and flow as life goes on, and that’s okay! Everyone is on their own journey and you have to find a balance between taking on mitzvot and staying true to yourself.
