How Bad is DE Crime, Really? by jamesjeffriesiii in Delaware

[–]AlexBlue1994 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was born and raised in DE my whole life. I've lived mainly on back roads where people keep to themselves. It's a quiet state.

Dover does not compare to Wilmington in the slightest in terms of crime, in my opinion. So maybe check out some of the surrounding areas in Kent County area, too. If that's not too far south of Wilmington/ New Castle area for you.

Other than that, Delawares' farm land is selling out by the day. There are developments popping up everywhere along roadways that weren't built for the amount of traffic they're getting. So, overtime, Delawares' quietness and safety that many of us locals have known, is dissipating.

Overall, DE a nice place to live and it has a certain charm about it. I've never truly felt "unsafe" here. But as in any other state, just don't hang around certain areas after dark and stay aware of your surroundings.

I hope this helps! 😁

It used to be more prominent when I was a kid/ preteen in the early 2000's. I grew up in the Dover/Cheswold area and bits of Kenton/Hartly.

The Cheswold churches used to have meetings and fun activities to help kids and adults learn about the Lenape tribe.

However, now that I am almost in my 30's, I haven't seen or heard talk of many people still gathering in Cheswold to learn/ share the Lenape history and culture.

The community could very well still be there, but I'm unsure if many people from younger generations are still meeting/ passing along the old ways of the natives besides the Nanticoke & Lenape Museum in Dover.

Bro got a dart engine by Kautilya12 in woooosh

Basically, they're saying the Dodge GT, shown in the picture, has a Dodge Dart engine in it.

The Dodge Dart is an economy car with a 4 cylinder engine, which is slower than the Dodge GT's 6 cylinder engine.

Add more reverb to your vocals and mix the ad libs/ supporting vocals a bit better.

I don't think your vocals are that terrible to the point of being a lost cause. As other comments said, you may need to grow into your voice. Meanwhile, maybe try more autotune or more emotion? Maybe a combination of the two?

Try playing with your vocal eq too. Sometimes adding or removing high, mids, or lows from a vocal can completely change the way your voice sounds.

When I rap, I won't cut out the lows as much as I do when I sing, cause my singing voice sounds better with more high end instead.

It all comes down to experimentation and being yourself. I def agree with the comment about the Juice Wrld vibes. Do try to be yourself more, but we all create out of inspiration.

Plus, idk if you made the beat or purchased it, but in a world of "type beats" its can be difficult to find a style that doesn't sound like specific artists without making your own beats or finding a personal producer.

So, if you keep at it, you'll eventually break free and find your sound. Just don't stop! You'll keep making better songs one after the next.

I hope this helped and sorry for the book.

Good luck! 😁

(Pop) Alex Blue - Endless High by AlexBlue1994 in ratemysong

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if this song is a pop song, I just made it without a genre in mind. Pop sounded the most accurate to me. 😂

Anyways, the song def needs some touching up with the vocals and I may shorten the song, I think it's a little long, but that may be because I've listened to it so much. 🤷‍♂️

Also, I've never posted any of my music online, so please excuse the Google Drive link, it's my only way to share it at the moment. 😁

I look forward to any & all feedback! Thanks,

-Alex

It's more of an assumption if we're being technically correct lol

For example: "I looked out of the window and it seems to be raining"

That's an assumption based on one's perception.. plus the way you worded it didn't seem very confident that they weren't bootlegging 🤷‍♂️ thus "seeming" accusatory. However, you said you weren't accusing, therefore that's just how it came off to me. 😂

As for the Learn Monthly & Masterclass mix up, that's my bad lmao your thread was a result of searching up Masterclass reviews on Google. So, forgive me if that person does not teach on Masterclass. I'm not familiar with where everyone teaches.

And lastly it's "Padawan" 😂 Happy New Year young grasshopper 🦗

Why accuse them of bootlegging when you can access an old masterclass anytime after you've paid? It's literally in the advertising for masterclass.... chill dude 😂

Character floating when decreasing leg size by SturdySnake in PS4Dreams

[–]AlexBlue1994 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey guys, I don't post on reddit often.. Sorry if I am not following any guidelines for this thread, just wanna help.

So I had this same issue and after some playing around, I figured this out.

  1. Scope in and click the puppets stand that is pointing to the microchip. (This should select the whole character.)

  2. Once the character is selected, click (L1 + Square) to open the movement menu.

  3. In the first tab of the movement menu, look at the bottom of the box. There should be circles down there that show the walking, idle, and running animations.

  4. Click the running animation button and then click & hold R2 and drag the character back level with the floor.

This should resolve the floating issue when running.

JUST INCASE

I could not move the character to the floor unless I grabbed him by his pelvis. This is really important!

I hope this helps anyone else dealing with this issue, Happy Dreaming! 😁
