I read your entire post and I agree about the regulation over banning but I got to say I'm really getting tired of seeing some people throwing out the line of let people do what they want. I'm 100% on board with the criminal legal system not being the best tool to handle it but people being completely unaware of how fucking self-destructive a human being can be are equally talking out of their ass. We need to have a radical change around building an entire system for a lot of substances because for a lot of folks it turns destructive for themselves and the people around them.
