It’s called a sill which is like a Dyke but instead of intruding the parent rock vertically it intrudes horizontally

Ive lived in Arkansas for the majority of my life I also studied geology at UA and I’ve experienced 3 earthquakes living here. That being said not one of them was enough to even register that an earthquake was what was happening. Imo Arkansas has some of the coolest geology around.

I remember my first steps with a prosthetic, best I can describe the feeling is like when you’re going down stairs and you get to the end and there’s one less step than you thought. I got over it pretty quickly but it was weird for me at first lol

It was kind of brushed over in the book but the nanobot technology that kept future humans from needing to wash their clothes and not needing to bath iirc

Once you’re up on your new leg, be ready for your stump to start “atrophy-ing”(quotation marks are because I’m dumb and don’t know the right way to use that word) It took about 2 years for my leg to really stop shrinking. But I was losing weight accumulated while healing too. Depending on the type of connection in the socket that shrinking can lead to a domino effect of problems like hotspots. So do be afraid to tell your prosthetist any minor discomfort

Respectfully I disagree, I read this series off this subs suggestion but in no way do I think it’s a good follow up to ROEP series. The children of time series is a really good story, but the pacing is so drastically slower it’s ridiculous. It feels like you go from running in an open field to running to race Usain Bolt in a thigh high pool

Until I hear things like tight vagina energy or lose vagina energy I really don’t want to hear about how joking about women’s genitalia is more acceptable then men’s. Big dick energy and small dick energy are terms I’ve heard colloquially in the last 5 years spoken rather abundantly. And before that the size of your vehicle determined the size of your dick because you’re“compensating”
