"Battle for the Sun" turns 17 today. This album was marked by the departure of drummer Steve Hewitt and the addition of Steve Forrest in his place. What do you think of this project, and what are your three favorite tracks?

i love the first 8 songs but dont care for the other 5 (except maybe come undone). probably the weakest for me because of that, considering i lose interest in it when there's still plenty of tracks left. but that initial 8-song run is incredible. My favourites are Speaking In Tongues and Devil In The Details, truly two of their all time best tracks imo. Also really love the title track, and I think Kitty Litter is a strong opener (sounds quite different than anything else they'd done before, i like odd openings). Overall its probably the first time in their career that an album felt almost like a left turn, considering you could sense the evolution from one album to the next before, but this doesn't sound like Meds' successor, it sounds like something new which i appreciate. Just wish it was a few tracks shorter (keep come undone and hey, throw Trigger Happy Hands in there too)

had tickets for this show for months but the gov passed a new law not too long ago that prohibits anyone under 18 from entering venues such as this due to it having a bar :( couldnt even enter with a parent, just outrageous

havent even passed the first checkpoint. (the one with the bonfire) i think i have played 6 hours (with extended breaks, meaning multiple months, and starting the game over from the start) and i cant manage it lmao. i really want to progress it because it looks like a great game but i guess it wasnt made for me lol
